Meet one of the new Sterling Law owners & attorneys, Sarah J. Boyd!
Sarah J. Boyd is a native to northern Michigan, having grown up in Leelanau County, participating in 4H and showing horses in her youth, and later graduating from Travers City West Senior High School. Sarah then went on to attend Northwestern Michigan College here in Traverse City before obtaining her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. Sarah gained valuable experience in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, and criminal law while working as a paralegal for almost 10 years before deciding to attend law school. Sarah went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State College of Law in 2020 and is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.
Sarah currently resides with her young daughter, Emberley, and German Shepherd dog, Lilah, in Leelanau County. When not at the office, Sarah enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, including skiing and hiking.
