Stepping Stone Montessori

There’s so much to rave about — I don’t even know where to start. Ms. Cathy is our wonderful director — a woman of action who clearly lives for this school and all it encompasses. Her passion is contagious, and it shines through in her incredible staff. The leads, the assistants, the admins, the volunteers — everyone is rowing in the same direction, with the same goal: to ensure our babies are loved, well taken care of, and learning in a safe environment. Communication is a big one for me, and the doors are always open. Whether in person, over the phone, through the app, or via email, they always find (or make) the time for you. We’ve been part of this school for a few years now, and with a few more to go, we couldn’t be happier.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE our teachers here at Stepping stone. Our daughter loves being able to explore and play with materials each day that keep her engaged and stimulate learning new skills. We knew from the first tour that the pristine cleanliness of the school, the fundamentals of their learning program and inviting environment created by the director and staff members was a place that our daughter would thrive. For any families considering starting their little one’s journey or making the switch to the stepping stone family I would highly recommend! We are excited for the years to come.

I only have the best things to say about this school! My daughter has been attending for around 2 years now and I can say she is learning things beyond her age group and is grasping onto everything. It truly feels like a home and not a school. Everyone is so welcoming and patient with all the children so you can trust your children are in good hands. They are a very inclusive school and have many celebrations throughout the year for all cultures. All around this school is just amazing and we love being apart of it!

Our son has been attending Stepping Stone Montessori for 4 years and we are so happy. The teachers are incredibly patient and nurturing, and they truly understand how to tailor the Montessori method to each child's needs. Our son has become more confident and independent. He loves exploring new activities and always comes home excited to share what he learned. The school fosters a strong sense of community, and we feel so welcomed by the staff. The classrooms are beautifully designed to encourage creativity and focus. The director of School, Ms. Cathy, is deeply committed to ensuring every child thrives. Their passion for Montessori education is evident in the way they guide the school and support families. The non teaching staff, from the office team to the maintenance crew, are warm and approachable. They always greet families with a smile and are quick to address any questions or concerns. It's clear that the director and the entire staff work seamlessly to create a nurturing, well organized environment. Their dedication contributed to the school's welcoming atmosphere. we highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a supportive and enriching Montessori environment. It has truly been a wonderful experience for our family.

Cannot recommend this school highly enough!! We loved stepping stone and had a wonderful experience there. The school made my child feel welcome, safe, and cared for. There was always clear communication about my child’s progress. Only left due to moving out of the area.

Love this place. My three-year-old blossomed at Steppingstone Montessori, gained confidence, become more independent and truly excited to learn each day. We are impressed with the progress he made in language skills and social development thanks to the engaging curriculum and caring teachers. We appreciate the positive and nurturing environment at SSM. Our child feels safe, happy, and encouraged to explore his potential. We've been impressed by communication and support from staff at SSM .They're always available to answer our questions and provide updated our child's progress. We love SSMS! We’ve entrusted them with our two daughters and couldn’t be happier with the care that they’re receiving. As an educator myself, I appreciate the communication between parents and staff, the transparency of knowing what my children are doing throughout the day, and the opportunity to be involved as a parent. The teachers are caring, compassionate, and experienced and we are at peace knowing that they’re in good hands. I’m beyond appreciative that my girls are building a love for learning and a foundational positive school experience. I would 100% recommend SSMS.

My daughter has been going here for 2 years and my son almost a year. We absolutely love Stepping Stone Montessori! Both my children are thriving in this beautiful environment. They are learning so much from the teachers who really care about the progress of your child. My daughter truly wants to go and learn and be with her friends. I love all the programs they provide such as ballet and karate and allow the children to strive in what they show interest in. Very refreshing and not just daycare but an actually school for your little ones. They also have wonderful activities as well. If you are looking for a great Montessori, look no further than Stepping Stone !

I visited 7 different daycare / schools before deciding on which to enroll my son. Stepping Stone was one of the cleanest and most organized. I liked how there was not a lot of clutter and kids are encouraged to be independent. After making my list of pros and cons I was down to 2 schools. The reason why I decided on Stepping Stone was because of the kids. I sat in a toddler class then a preschool class and the kids were all so calm and well behaved. My son has been attending since Feb 2016. He started out in the nursery and is now in the toddler class. He has learned so much and surprises me sometimes when he comes home. It is a great school with a great staff!

We started our daughter off at another school and had an awful experience. I pulled her out immediately and walked into Stepping Stone Montessori (I passed it each day on the way to work so figured I would visit). As soon as I walked in, I knew that it was the place our daughter belonged. I was a new mom and with her being three months old I hated the thought of leaving her each day to go to work. Let me tell you...the teachers were/are so incredible and I can honestly say that I left there each morning with a smile on my face knowing that she was in good hands; and 2 1/2 years later- I still do. The teachers and staff are more than wonderful. They love those children as if they are their own. They feel like family!!! The school focuses on each child and their development. They do soooo many activities with the children. Our daughter is now 2 1/2 and in Primary and thriving. I truly feel she is the little girl that she is today because of Stepping Stone Montessori. I absolutely love this school. I just can't say enough good things about it and everyone there. LOVE THEM and what my daughter is learning and accomplishing!!!
