Cherokee County market update for May 2019:
Listings were up 7%
Median list price was just over $400,000
Days on market was up 34% - it's taking longer
Median sales price was just over $293,000
May sales were down year over year by 15%'

Some of the market lag is attributable to rates being a bit higher during the month of May, although they have come down in the last several days. Another lagging segment in many areas of metro Atlanta, like Cherokee, is for sales over $350,000.
