Every time we walk in Believe in Dog we get renewed hope in making it through puppyhood and adolescence with our huge and continuing to grow German Shepherd. Thank you Believe In Dog!! Rocky and his pawrents love everyone who works there. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Stephanie, Megan and Alyssa. Reactive Rover class has really helped all us. And we made it through puppy stage with the Puppy Day School program and continue with Enriched Doggie Day Care with Jessica and Pedram. And of course Joanna has a gift with every dog and great suggestions. It all started with a phone call to Roxanna who helped explain everything and make it easy. Stephanie said in the first Reactive Rover class "after these classes you WILL see a change in your beloved dogs but for SURE you will see a change in yourselves." Wow! So true. We thought there would be a magic potion and all would be calm. Nope. But we are making progress and we have all improved. We want to be more comfortable on walks. We want to be less reactive. At first we (us and Rocky) would explode at the smallest sounds. People, lawn mowers, cars and trucks passing by, birds landing on the fence, another dog within 100 yards. Forget about it! Flooding with stimulus does not work with dogs. It only made things worse. We worried other people would think "Man they can't handle their dog." We now know he is not a bad dog and we are not bad pawrents. Quite the opposite. Rocky just wants to love and be loved. He wants to play and the leash or fence is restricting him from running over to other dogs and people. With the help of Reactive Rover class we are now equipped with tools to help Rocky and especially us. We understand more of what is going on in Rocky's mind and mostly us. The very last class we saw HUGE improvement with Rocky and how we react to his reactivity. We learned it is okay to "begin and begin again and if necessary begin again - again." It's a process, not a product. We know for sure Rocky was a gift from God. We will never give up on him. We will love him every single day for all of his life. We are Believers! Thank you dear people of Believe of Dog!! With belief and deepest gratitude, from Mitzie, Phil and Rocky Danielson

Honestly, BIDT has been incredible. I found them online and signed up for Puppy Class 1. I was a little nervous about starting before my pup had all his vaccines, but I’m so glad I didn’t wait. He stayed healthy, had only positive experiences, and learned to socialize with both new puppies and people right away. Our trainer, Ashley, was fantastic—clear, patient, and really skilled at teaching things I didn’t even realize were possible at this stage. My pup picked up so many useful skills, and we had a lot of fun along the way. We’re now in Puppy Class 2 and already looking forward to the intermediate level. The classes have strengthened our bond, given my pup confidence, and made training an enjoyable part of our routine. I can’t recommend BIDT highly enough.
