I’m devastated to leave a bad review, but my experience with this cleaning service was truly disappointing and I feel it’s important to share.
First, the quality of the cleaning itself was far below any reasonable standard. It was a deep clean projected to take 9 hours. I walked into my space to find fingernails left behind — which were 10000000% not mine. In multiple spaces. This alone is unhygienic and frankly appalling. The areas that were supposedly “completed” looked less than satisfactory, with visible dust, residue, and a general lack of attention to detail. I expressed that their staff didn’t use cleaning products in areas. One lady spent roughly 3 hours in a single bathroom alone. I was thinking, wow, it will be completely transformed when she was done…
To make matters worse, much of the work I was paying for was not even touched. Due to a power outage, several major areas were left incomplete — entire kitchen,oven, living room, dining, stairs, loft, entire house vacuuming/mopping, rubbish removal, 6 windows, and more. While I understand and didn’t want to continue, it is unacceptable to charge for services that were not provided. I wasn’t aware they would charge for a full service.
When I raised these concerns, instead of immediately addressing the evidence without question. the owner responded by saying they weren’t making a profit and had a responsibility to pay their staff. While I empathize with that reality, a business also has a responsibility to provide their team with proper cleaning supplies, a detailed checklist, and standards of quality. The burden should not be shifted onto the customer.
I eventually received a partial refund, but only after painstaking negotiation. I was left feeling disregarded, dismissed, and taken advantage of, rather than valued as a client. After the partial refund I paid 190 for the partial below average standard finger nail drop service. no deep clean was ever provided.
In short: the service was substandard, the communication was defensive rather than constructive, and accountability was lacking. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to others.
