State Auto Glass

​I originally had my windshield replaced at State Auto Glass back in March 2025 at their old 21st and State location. They had the best price in Salem, and the initial install was solid. However, about six months in, I started noticing major clarity issues at night and in the rain. Stubborn hard water stains that just wouldn't budge. I suspected a glass defect but didn't act on it immediately. ​By December 2025, I drove by to find their shop was gone. I assumed I was out of luck, but in March 2026, I decided to take a chance and text the old number I had for them. To my surprise, I got an immediate response!! After I sent over some photos of the glass, they came out to my location a few days later and did a full professional polish, inside and out, at no charge. ​While that is what you hope for with a warranty issue, the fact that they stood by their work one year later, and after a move to mobile, completely exceeded my expectations. Now, I'm still taking it to Hyundai for a specialized strip and treatment ($90) to really lock in that clarity, but I’m incredibly impressed with this team’s integrity. If you want a business that doesn't disappear when the job is done, this is the one. It was a nice win to get my issue resolved without having to fight for it!
