Look no further for wheel alignment. I’ve been to 3 other alignment shops and none of them could get my alignment right. The other shops wouldn’t even unfreeze bolts to get the right alignment. I read other reviews of this shop. And many customers have similar experience. They went to other shops and never getting the correct alignment. Well, this shop gets it right. I highly recommend this place for wheel alignment. A+

These people work some magic here. Ever since BMW Brooklyn dealer did my alignment my car’s steering wheel hasn’t gone straight a single day, always cocked by 3-5 degrees. Then the dealer tried to correct it twice and failed every time. Wasted 5 days going back and forth between dealer and home. Brought the car to STAR, of course, initially with some skepticism (rear wheel steering, air suspension, all the driving assist functions) because if they don’t have CodeLink these will no longer work, but after 45 minutes there, after their correction, I drove again, and it’s almost 100% straight almost like factory straight. It doesn’t bother me anymore. It ended up being that the dealer never got these suspension geometry correct. They have the best machines (newest Hunter Hawkeye with flatbed, Hunter wheel balancer). The shop is tight but very clean and tidy. You know you can trust them when you use their restroom. I’ve never seen an indie shop with such a clean restroom, really, attention to details is in their work, and they don’t mind you standing behind the line and watch how they do their work. Will go back to them for regular maintenance and repairs. Appreciate such a transparent and fairly priced shop. They care, they know what they’re doing, and they’re transparent. Give them a try, you will thank me later.

I like to thank the owners of Star Wheel Alignment once again. I had to change the front brakes and do an oil change today on my son Honda civic. As usual when you arrive you are treated with pure professionalism and courtesy. I am always impressed with the knowledge and there capabilities. I was in and out within a short period of time. I have neighborhood shops where I live but I trust Star Wheel Alignment because they always do the right thing. They are not like other shops where you will get taken advantage with pricing. I have dealt with many shops over the last 30yrs and you have some shops that will over price you. Star wheel Alignment in Long Island City IS NOT ONE OF THEM. I have been a customer for 5yrs now and I am very confident of the work they do. They are the BEST wheel alignment shop & mechanic shop I have ever dealt with. Praises to them and we need more local honest businesses like them. I always refer my friends and family to their business. Thank you for the great experience as always!!

Came in for brake pad and rotor install. Brought my own parts. labor was very fairly priced and owner is very responsive over text. Will be coming back here for sure.

Very Dishonest guys! Please do not patronize them as a first customer!! I planned to do wheel alignment and oil change. He told I will need to wait for one hour because they are doing wheel balancing on a Benz car. I waited for more than one hour for them to complete a wheel balancing, yet he brought in another car that came after and asking me to wait another 15 to 20 minutes. I ask him why, the he told me I can leave if I cannot wait.

Best car mechanic garage jn Long Island City runs by two bothers. The guy Ali is very best and very professional and will treat your car with care and respect and will satisfy all the car needs and make sure that your leaves the garage running smoothly and efficiently.

Took my 2017 Subaru Forester in for an alignment and was pleasantly surprised. The shop wasn’t too busy (it was a Monday), so I got in right away. The pricing was reasonable—no surprise add-ons or upsells—and the staff was efficient and polite. The whole process was quick, and the car drives noticeably smoother now.

Great shop, very knowledgeable. My car is lowered and almost none of the suspension is stock, 3 other shops had a hard time aligning it while Star had no problem. Thanks again guys, I’ll be back.
