I had a very good experience with Star State Diesel. When I arrived on Monday, they got me right in and took the time to diagnose the issue thoroughly. I pulled in convinced it was wheel bearings. It wasn’t. With careful diagnosis—ruling out issues one by one—they traced it to the air suspension sitting low, which was causing the driveshaft to be misaligned and rub. That kind of sleuthing saved me from chasing the wrong repair, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Tuesday was parts logistics. The correct airbags for a 2004 motorhome aren’t easy to source, and we ultimately had to order them from out of state and overnight them for a Wednesday noon Delivery. Wednesday and Thursday were the installation plus a quality-control check to make sure everything was perfect. They were a little optimistic up front on time and cost, but it all worked out in the end. On top of that, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful throughout the process. Solid work, strong diagnostics, and I’d highly recommend them.

Mannie and Dave are amazing. They came out to Big Bend NP in the middle of the night to fix a broken leaf spring, followed us to safety into our campground and returned 2 days later to install new leaf springs and axle. 4 days later we pulled into their shop in Fort Stockten so they could check brakes and get us safely back to adventuring. We can't speak highly enough of Star State Diesel Inc. Thank you.
