I can’t say enough good things about Lee and the help he provided with my 2014 Mercedes Sprinter. Before I even purchased the van, I connected with Lee through Reddit. He was incredibly helpful during the buying process — looking up the vehicle’s mileage history and confirming the remaining extended warranty coverage. That gave me real confidence moving forward with the purchase. After buying the Sprinter, I had it inspected at another Sprinter shop in San Diego. They recommended several legitimate maintenance items (transmission service, oil service, rear differential service, brake service) and 2k for new DPF, but they also suggested some expensive repairs that didn’t seem necessary — including $2,000 for ball joints and tie rods that were actually in good condition, and $900 for a throttle body gasket. When I reviewed everything with Lee, he was completely straightforward. He confirmed what truly needed to be done and agreed the DPF should be replaced — but he also took the time to verify that my extended warranty would cover the DPF replacement at the dealership vs. just offering to fix.That alone saved me $2,000. On top of that, Lee is a mobile mechanic, which makes everything incredibly convenient. He came directly to my home, handled the necessary maintenance, and charged significantly less than both the dealership and the local Sprinter specialty shop — roughly 20–25% less. Where do I start? I purchased my 2019 Sprinter about seven months ago. I ran into several issues right away and simply needed some phone support, Lee was so patient and helpful. More recently when I needed some work done quickly Lee came the next day and took care of it. He is a master sprinter mechanic and his fees are reasonable. What else could you ask for?
