After a "Window Repair Company" attended this garden gate, and charged an elderly customer 3 labour charges on site for an initial problem of a broken handle, which was all she wanted changing.
They changed the sashlock and butchered the door, then left site then obtained a set of second hand handles, and charged her full whack for the parts. Ended up paying over £400 for a mortice lock and handle.
Customer was very worried that they could have keys and return. So wanted the mortice lock changing and a new set of handles so they could be returned to them.
