Shankaragiri is a prominent spiritual hillock in the temple town of Sringeri, Karnataka, recently developed by the Sringeri Sharada Peetham. It is situated approximately 2 km from the main Goddess Sharadamba Temple and has become a major landmark in the Western Ghats.
