Next Phase: Ground Floor Steel Mesh & Sub-Base Preparation!
We've moved rapidly past the foundation and plinth beam stage and are now meticulously preparing for the Ground Floor Slab (Flooring) casting. This phase ensures the floor is level, durable, and structurally integrated.
As Sree Construction engineers, we focus on every detail:Compaction & Filling: The area within the plinth beam is properly filled with soil and gravel, followed by thorough compaction to prevent settling cracks later.Damp Proofing: A polythene sheet (Damp Proofing Membrane) is laid out (as seen in some photos) to prevent moisture from rising through the concrete slab, ensuring a dry, healthy interior.Steel Reinforcement: We've laid a tight steel mesh (rebar) that will work with the concrete to resist tension and shrinkage cracks, providing maximum strength.Precision Spacing: Cover blocks are used strategically beneath the mesh to maintain the correct concrete cover which is vital for the steel's longevity and corrosion resistance.Ready to pour the concrete and step into the next stage of construction! Follow our progress and see the engineering difference.
