At 47 years of age, I had a substantial lower back injury during strength training. My recovery was becoming months long with continued pain & no relief in sight. The professional advice I received from other medical sources was to simply give up on certain physical activities that could cause continued pain (strength training/deadlifts, mountain biking as two examples) because "I'm getting to be that age" and needed to "learn to live with back pain"... I truly felt I had no options left to maintain the activities I've come to enjoy at this point in my life, and at perhaps my lowest point, I saw an advertisement from Collin from Spark that resonated with me & I filled out the form. That one decision I decided to make changed the unfortunate course I was on, and (spoiler alert) put be back on the right track. Collin took the time to hear my situation, he asked what my goals were, and discussed treatment path to get there. From the first contact over phone intake interview, through all of the in-person treatment visits, Collin continued his caring consultative approach, with a personal touch. Being an athlete himself, his genuine desire to help clients reach their physical goals shows in every conversation, it is easy to see he loves what he does. Outside of the weekly tailored in-person visits for treatment, the user friendly & exceptional quality of the technology interface (PhysiApp) made keeping up with daily at-home physical movements easy and fun. After a reasonable number of weeks of treatment, Collin not only had me 100% back enjoying the physical activities that others said I should give up; I am also enjoying more flexibility in my back, hips, and legs - than I've had in decades! Also, proud to say at the end of treatments rocking a Spark Physical Therapy shirt I ran my fastest 5K in 30 years -- something that seemed completely out of sight just a few months ago. Collins results speak for themselves... Or as he put it to me on many occasions with a fist bump -- "It's teamwork!"

Working with Collin to achieve my goal of a pain free lower back and hips has been a wonderful experience! Collin really listened to me and was able to develop a plan that has greatly improved my mobility and alleviated the pain and stiffness that had been affecting my life. In less than a year I have been able to create goals around hiking and caving! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had a laminectomy and discectomy done in June. After a year of PT and injections I finally got it fixed. After surgery I decided that I needed to start some physical therapy. After doing some research, Spark Physical Therapy was the place I was looking for. As a place that’s geared toward helping active adults, it was the best choice for my PT. They work with patients one on one and you’re actually seeing a physical therapist for your entire session. After not lifting weights for almost 16 months, I am finally back to lifting and doing the things I enjoy. Collin runs a great clinic, and I have been working with Lexi the last 8 weeks. She has been awesome listening to my goals and concerns and designing a program specifically for me. I could not recommend Spark any more. Any active adult needing PT look no further.

Had an excellent experience with Spark and Collin. Their approach of solving the underlying problem with a structured plan produced the results I was looking for. I first tried a hospital based physical therapist, I was discouraged by their lack of an individualized plan. I could definitely see progress with Collin's weekly sessions and he paid close attention to what I was experiencing so we could modify the plan as needed. I highly recommended Spark vs the impersonal, big network hospital physical therapists.

Highly recommend Spark Physical Therapy. Collin assessed my situation with my upper glute, prescribed a routine, and two months later I was able to run two days in a row for the first time pain free in about five months. What I liked most about the process was getting the function back i.e. me running again rather than just fixing the spot that was in pain. Also, I appreciated the lengthier rehab schedule which really helped me get to being strong again in a more naturalistic way.

Collin is great. Very supportive and a good listener. He crafted a very personalized plan to help combat those nagging issues that show up with aging. Each visit built upon the last and was tailored to progress made. The facility is spotlessly clean and visits never felt rushed. I would highly recommend!

Collin is one of the best in the area! He is super nice and professional. He truly cares about his patients. I went to him with hip pain that I was experiencing for 2-3 years. I told him there was nothing that could help and I felt like I did life long damage. I am a retired college football player that turned into a runner. I told him I did not want to stop running to fix my problem. He worked with me for multiple months, and I continue to stay up on the workouts. I run an average of 50 miles a week now and I do not have anymore more hip pain. I highly recommend Collin

Spark is great! I’ve had left shoulder pain for a few years and it wasn’t getting better. I had tried PT somewhere else and it wasn’t working. Dr. Collin customized a plan and progressed it every week. They use an app that show you exactly what exercises to do each day which held me accountable. My shoulder has gotten much better. Would highly recommend giving Spark a try!

I had been struggling with shoulder pain from playing volleyball multiple days a week. I was starting to get nervous that I had an injury, so I decided to get an evaluation done at Spark. Collin was extremely knowledgeable and a great listener. I immediately felt comfortable and hopeful that I’d be able to improve my shoulder health while still playing the sport I love. Collin put together a well thought out plan, measured progress along the way, and catered to my preferences and schedule. I have only positive things to say about the experience and my shoulder strength, pain, and range of motion has improved greatly. Highly recommend!

I came in the office with achilles pain on both feet. I was a few weeks out from a half marathon and a 60 mile walk. I just wanted to know whether I should continue with my goals. Lexi supported me from day one. She talked to me about what I wanted to accomplish, and helped me achieve. She's given me exercises to do every day, not only to help my achilles, but also the other hip issue she noticed as we worked. Lexi and Colin are professional, friendly and so supportive, which is exactly what I was looking for. Definitely check them out!
