Southern Temp Control

John went well above and beyond what I would have expected with my winter tune-up today. He discovered something was amiss with my smart thermostat. After lengthy discussions with tech troubleshoot, and with John's full-on assistance, we were able to get things squared away and running properly. If John wouldn't have been here, I would not have had the information or knowledge to answer questions from the thermostat tech side. He stayed to see me through it, and it was greatly appreciated!

Wow what a company! John came highly recommended by neighbors and did not disappoint. He was able to help us troubleshoot a clogged system late at night via phone and get AC back on for the night. He then went out of his way to get us on the schedule the following evening to fix the main issue. Prompt, responsive, kind, helpful, reasonably priced, knowledgeable, above and beyond service!

STC will be the only call I make for cooling and heating services again! I left a voicemail before they opened, and a few minutes before their stated business hours had a call back and appointment scheduled for a few hours later. I received a text notification that John, the tech, was in route and would arrive in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, John was there and already hands on assessing the issue at hand. He explained everything, in terms I was able to understand and showed photos/video as examples of what the issue was and his plan of action. Within an hour and a half service was complete, my AC was working again, and information thoroughly explained. THANK YOU Lorie for the prompt call back this morning, John for making magic happen with explanations, and STC for operating a top notch business!

I rarely leave reviews, and I have no affiliation with this company, but this one is well deserved! Everyone involved was friendly, professional, and reliable. Rob was great, super informative and took the time to be really thorough with the service on our unit. You can tell they actually care. This is not a solicited review, just genuinely impressed and wanted to spread the word to the Wimberley Valley.

I called souther temp control based on community recommendations and will definitely continue to use them for any future needs. Very knowledgable and trustworthy and were able to provide prompt service. I appreciate the detail in their explanation for repairs and future recommendations. I found pricing to be very reasonable.

I can't recommend STC enough. Competitive pricing, excellent customer service, top notch craftsmanship, extremely knowledgeable, all around pleasure to work with. They replaced our 4 ton unit and all ductwork last year at a competitive price. They also serviced our existing 2 ton unit to get it running great. The 2 ton unit started acting up today and STC offered to walk me through the fix over the phone (at no charge), which I gladly accepted. Absolutely fabulous! John showed up and went straight to work. Within 10 minutes he knew exactly what was going on and was in his truck with replacement parts that they keep on hand! Within 30 minutes he had us fixed up with the new motor which also auto balances the system! He was polite, knowledgeable and fast!

WOW!!!! If I could rate Southern Temp Control (STC) 10 Stars, I would. STC and Mr. Wolff came highly recommended to us and I am so happy we called to schedule service with STC. My wife and I are long time home owners in Woodcreek and have used three other companies prior to finding STC. I have never, ever received this kind of service! We received very detailed notes about this service and discussion we had about possible needs for future reference. We very highly recommend STC and Mr. Wolff.

One word for this company, HONEST! Our blower motor was starting up intermittently causing the motor not to come on resulting in no airflow. The first occurrence, I was out of town and called a neighbor in a panic who works for another company. We were advised to replace the unit, no other solutions were offered. The second occurrence, we were both home and realized the blower fan was not coming on. I was able to get it to start up in the on position to keep it running. I reached out to Southern Temp Control, Lauren ask questions to give the technician an idea of the situation. Rob came out today, went over the call notes and aak a few pre-diagnostic questions. Rob looked at the motor, ran all of the diagnostics and advised it could be a faulty switch but wasn't pushing for switch replacement as the unit was operating fine. I respected his honestly but went ahead to make the repair. He replaced the switch then went above and beyond by checking the whole system to uncover any potential issues. We appreciate and value this level of service. Rob explained our system and if it is operating correctly with no leaks, there is no need for replacement. His honesty goes along way with us and will be customers from now on. Thank you Rob and Lauren for addressing all of concerns and recommendations on future service. Fair and transparent pricing too! Highly recommend these guys!

Rob and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us out when we were in a bind this past summer due to an unexpected broken A/C unit. Not only was Rob and his team incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, they squeezed us in to his already jampacked schedule to make sure we didn't have to suffer through the Texas triple digit heat any longer. We had a unique situation with a pending insurance claim and as soon as we had information to move forward, Rob jumped into action and worked with our unique situation to identify and resolve our A/C issues within a couple days, going out of his way to fit us in to a Saturday. Rob is a wonderful neighbor, and he's a genuinely good human who is trustworthy, friendly, efficient, HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE and he treated us like friends who needed help when we were in a bind and even gave us some tips for the future so we'd have some knowledge too. I cannot say enough good things about his expertise and level of service... thank you so very much, Rob.
