Living in a rural area, means being the last to have electric reconnected after a storm. Having a whole home generator has been a huge blessing. Southern States Generator makes everything easy. They have gone over and above to contact the manufacturer, for a warranty issue, when our original installer went out of business. What could have been a huge headache, ended up being an excellent experience. They are quick to respond to our service needs and they stay on top of our service schedule, even when I forget. If you live in Monticello or Miccosukee or another rural area, give them a call. It’s so hard to find quality service outside of Tallahassee or Thomasville and I cannot thank SSG enough for their hospitality and willingness to help. Nice group of knowledgeable folks.

After being without power for 5 days, had my generator installed after the last major storm. Had to wait around 3 months for the install due to their high demand. The install was completed with no issues. For startup and orientation, Stephen did a great job explaining how the generator works and answered all my questions. Logan showed up right at the 6 month mark (without me calling) to check the unit to make sure it was in tip top shape. If there were any issues at all, they were very responsive and showed up when they said they would. I had a battery charging issue a few months ago and Josh Smith showed up to diagnose and replace it the same day. Josh, Stephen and Cory (the owner) always gets back to me with answers to my questions in a timely manner. The entire team is very thorough and professional. I would highly recommend them to install your Kohler generator.
