My husband and I hired Southern Hardwood flooring to put new hardwoods throughout our home. After talking with Randy we decided on a beautiful 5” Brazilian cherry. The process was pretty simple Southern hardwood delivered the materials and a week or so later, remove our old existing hardwoods, tile and carpet then install our new floor. It is very beautiful! I would recommend Southern hardwood flooring to anyone wanting great workmanship that also pays attention to details. Thank you Randy and crew we love it!

UPDATE: I bought a new home in Montgomery, and Southern Hardwood Flooring refinished our red oak floors here. They came out sleek and smooth and absolutely beautiful. We have two rooms that do not have hardwood flooring, and SHF also did an amazing job installing quality LVP flooring in both rooms. No gaps between the planks AT ALL! The shoe molding also looks beautiful in all the rooms. One really great thing is that they were able to accommodate us schedule-wise. The hardwood was done before we moved in, even though it was very short notice, and the LVP in the kitchen, a high-traffic room, was done very soon after I approved the invoice as well. In the kitchen, the crew even helped me move two of the appliances into place—so kind! Small thing to note: If you're removing layers of flooring to get to hardwood in a room that has baseboards, SHF will not paint any unpainted gaps between the baseboard and the new shoe molding. If this is something you want done, you might consider specifically asking them if they can do that. Since we chose oak rather than primed molding, we were not concerned with it because the unpainted strip looks like part of the molding. I unreservedly recommend Southern Hardwood Flooring for all your hardwood and LVP flooring needs. They are quick, accommodating, and personable, and they follow their customers around the state! Honestly, if I ever left Alabama, I might try to fly them out to do my floors. ORIGINAL: Southern Hardwood Flooring is quick and efficient, and they do amazing work. They did my entire 1,100-square-foot home in four days. My floors are very old pine and oak. They had spots and a lot of scuffs originally. The floor in the kitchen had layers of lineoleum and plywood on it. I wasn't sure what was possible, but I was told they could make them look like new, and they were right! They totally restored the luster of the floors and even fixed our bad DIY refinish in one room. You won't regret going with Southern Hardwood. The communication is great and they are professional craftsmen. Thank you for transforming my home!

Randy and his men totally refinished the upper floor and stairs of my home. Living room, dining room, kitchen, hall and master bedroom. His men moved all my furniture, sanded the floor to bare wood, filled all the cracks and joints and got all the cupped planks level again. Then he stained the floor with a lighter color, put the final finish on the floor, and when dry put all my furniture back where it belonged. All this was done while I was out of the country for a week. He and his crew did an excellent job and made my floors look better than they were when we purchased the house new. I highly recommend Southern Hardwood to anyone who wants quality work done on their home. Randy is honest and does what he promises on time and on budget.

I was looking to have my old floors refinished and some new hardwoods installed. I was given Southern Hardwood flooring's number by a few friends that had used this company. I called and talked to Randy we set up an appointment to have him come out to give me and estimate. After I received the emailed estimate I hired Randy and his crew to do the work.
