Great new office at 410 S Bedford Street. Dental hygienist was excellent. Have had superior work done by the dentists here as well. I recommend this dental group for regular and specialized work. Clean office, professional staff, up to date equipment. Couldn't ask for more from a dental group!

I always feel welcome when I come to the office for any service and they listen to my concerns without judgement. Don’t walk run to get an appointment with this office!!!! Fantastic experience. I was getting bounced all over Delmarva for my dental work, I had upper arch implants and a lower arch bridge, until I found Maria and SDDS. This is the go to get everything done in one place dentist. They have it all here. Dr Sanz and Dr Eckley took incredible care of me from start to finish. Maria was always available to help with scheduling and financing for my dental work. I had EVERYTHING completed here from extractions to final installation. Stop looking because this is your dentist. I am so glad I found this place.

Ur gonna think I'm crazy, but I had a good time getting my tooth pulled last week 🙃. Dr. Ching did an amazing job and Hailey the dental assistant gave me her hands for both comfort and pain. I felt very comfortable... we even had a good laugh 😃. Afterward Maria sat with me and explained what the plan was and the pricing and explained what my insurance would cover. I'm looking forward to my next visit.... weird. 😁😁

1st time here after a disappointing Maryland dentist. The place is busy, but they were willing to help from the moment I called in. On a blessing, took me in next day. Jackie and Dr. Bristow made it happened for me. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Awesome staff!!!

Going to the dentist always gives me the worst anxiety but everyone who helped me at Southern Delaware dental specialists were amazing! I can’t thank Maria enough for everything she’s done to help me. From coordinating my appointments to fit me in, to walking me through everything financially and answering all my questions. She’s the best. Dercy did my X-rays and she was so sweet! The convo we had made me less nervous. Lori is so kind and gentle, she made me so comfortable while doing the exam. I saw Dr. Eckley at the end and he was straight to the point and clear about what needed to be done, very professional. I was in and out in a timely manner and everyone I’ve mentioned above made the experience so pleasant for me. Thank you again!

I had a dental emergency during this week's blizzard starting Sunday 2/23/26. I left a message with southern dental Monday & Tuesday for an emergency appointment they were closed both days and no one called to speak with me. I called Wednesday and got an appointment by that time my tooth was infected and I was in alot of pain. They fit me in and I am returning Thursday to have an extraction. I used telehealth thru my insurance to get an antibiotic. Southern dental would not give me a pain prescription only Tylenol & advil. This has not been a good experience. Don't count on them for your emergencies.

I recently had two teeth pulled from here and everyone was excellent! From the receptionist to the nurse that prepped me And Dr. Sans. I was in and out in no time. The best part was that the staff made sure I was comfortable through the whole process.

I was very impressed with all those I interacted with in the office. Very professional and courteous. Kudos to my dental hygienist, Lorri, who was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I’m not a big fan of deep cleanings but she made the experience very manageable for me!
