I HIGHLY recommend Southern Brothers! My husband and I recently had our landscape done in our front yard and the side of our house. They pulled out all the bushes, weeds, barks, and the huge birds of paradise tree blocking our window in the front. I let them know what we wanted something clean, simple, and low maintenance. They completed the project in just two days and they made sure that all the irrigation worked properly at the completion of the work. Dakota and his staff definitely delivered and we’re very impressed with their work!! The before/after pictures…… Best Service!!!

Dakota, including his Crew and landscape-designer Hunter, did a magnificent job transforming our desolate front yard into a sanctuary. Not the least expensive, however, well worth the investment. We like to thank Dakota and Hunter for their ideas and exceptional execution of this project. I needed to arrange landscaping work for my brother in Palm Harbor from my home in VA. Dakota was able to understand what my brother wanted (he has communication difficulties following a stroke) and convey them to me. The work was completed well ahead of schedule and matched by brother's expectations perfectly. Dakota shared photos of the yard with me (the sparse yard was converted to crushed shell), and I was able to handle all invoices and payment easily over the phone. Very professional and very courteous - I highly recommend Southern Brothers for your landscaping needs.

Dakota and team turned our vision of tropical oasis for our backyard pool area into a reality. After months of pool construction our yard was a mess. Our lawn had not survived the drought and hot florida sun while we were having our pool Installed. Dakota and his team came to the rescue. He really has a knack for putting a vision together for your yard.They repiped our sprinkler system, put plenty of heads in to reach every bit of our lawn to ensure it will thrive. They added a perfect assortment of tropical 🌴 palms and plants. To complete the look he added river rock to the Palm beds! We wanted a sand beach and Dakota completed that as well. His crew worked so hard and cleaned up their mess once the job was complete everyday they were here. Lat, they did all this in record time to meet deadlines we had with guest coming in town. Thanks to Southern Brothers we can now enjoy our yard and just relax! We highly recommend this Landscaping company.

We hired Southern Brothers Landscaping to install a 30+ large plants. Dakota and his team were very friendly and professional. I was provided a quote on site and needed to ask a few questions and make some revisions in the weeks leading up to the project. I was always contacted and provided with a revised quote within 24 hours. Work began within 4 business days of deciding to Southern Brothers and was completed within 2 days of the start. I was kept informed of the progress at all times and we received a beautiful product. We have received many compliments on the plants that Southern Brothers installed.

I recommend Southern Brothers. I had a large project involving new canal irrigation, sprinkler system, sod, new plants, dead tree removal, hundreds of square feet of pavers, a complicated ground cover for the canal bank behind my house, and exterior lighting. The company provided an accurate estimate of the cost and timeframe and stuck to it. Dakota answers the phone every time, no voicemail. He comes when called; does what he says he is going to do, and does it when he says he is going to do it. My satisfaction is complete, and I have engaged their services for routine maintenance for the foreseeable future. The before/after pictures below should speak for themselves, but let me say it anyway: There are all kinds of landscapers out there. Some may charge more, and some may charge less; but I am certain this job could not have been done better at any price.

Had them come to give an estimate on a job that’s was messed up by a previous contractor. Instead of letting me know they were not interested to take the job in they made me chase them down to get an answer. Additionally Shaun or Shawn (however it’s spelled) told me he specifically always does things against code after stating he always puts drainage against or near the right-away which is specifically against Pinellas county code. It wasn’t until I showed him an email from the county in which he realized it was against code. Don’t hire contractors who don’t know the codes around their own work and then act like experts or you will have another experience like I’m dealing with with the previous contractors I’m trying to fix their work from. Summary: terrible customer service and bad knowledge. An easy call to confirm they wouldn’t take the job would have been professional but what do you expect from the industry

Dakota and crew did a wonderful job converting our dirt pit into a tropical oasis. He listened to what a wanted to create and selected the perfect plants. Has even come by just to make sure all sprinklers are working properly.
