A bear damaged my passenger door to the extent that the car was not driveable but I had to get back to Michigan ASAP. Ryan's team fit me in right away and got the door so that it would seal reasonably well so I could get home, even though he knew I would not be using his shop for the actual repair. Great service. Great advice. Hopefully, I won't need body work in Tahoe again, but if I do, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My vehicle was hit and run in the middle of the night. Unfortunate situation but south side did an excellent job getting my car back to perfect. Would highly recommend to anybody! Their office folks were really good at communicating with me as the process moved along and they were even willing to hold on to the car for me for a few days while I was on vacation. Thanks y'all!

Ryan & his team are absolutely amazing!!! The front desk answers the phone, returns calls, is kind & very helpful. My car needed a new bumper & they dealt with my insurance. It only took 3 days for my car to be done, once I had my appointment. I’ve had horrible experiences with other auto body places in the past. I’ve finally found my go to place!! I have needed the services of South side auto body numerous times in the last 21 years for my Chevy Silverado. The first time was a few months after I purchased the vehicle in August of 2002, when it had only a few thousand miles on it. It got sandblasted in a severe windstorm, and they had to repaint it. This summer, I was rear ended by a semi in Colorado during a heavy rain storm. I was lucky enough to drive away with just fender, left rear tail light and left rear quarter panel damage. The frame wasn’t bent and my insurance company was going to pay for the repairs. Of course I took the truck to South Side Auto Body. The shop is professional, the personnel are friendly and helpful, and overall for me, it’s the only place in town to get work done, when you’ve been unfortunate enough to either have been in an accident, or to have weather damage to your vehicle. Thanks all!

So impressed with them. Last year someone hit the back of my SUV and ruined the rear bumper. South Side Auto Body did a beautiful job with the repair, it looked as if it never happened. Recently, I went to them for an interior detail. I had used maybe 3 other detail services in south lake and was not happy with the results or the prices I paid. I am pretty particular about what I consider clean and have a high expectation. I was so happy I went with them!! I am so happy with the detail and I won’t go with anyone else now. I called to personally thank them for what a good job they did. If you are a south lake local you know that high quality services are hard to come by … south side auto body is high quality and I won’t spend my money anywhere else now.

I needed some body work done on my car and had a very tight schedule. This organization stepped up and really helped me out. They were not only speedy, they were incredible at keeping me informed with accurate information, and the finished product was perfection. This was perhaps the best experience I have had with any kind of auto repair shop. If you are looking for auto body work in the South Lake Tahoe area, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely rude and impatient on business to business sale. We would not look to this business for any retail work at this shop based on how unprofessional they were with us. Could not wait a few hours for a reply to get a missing part shipped out. Did not want to use the support ticket system REQUIRED by the manufacturer.
