My Husband and I had the most pleasant dealership experience ever! We went in just looking around, were helped by a saleswoman named Leslye! She was an absolute dream, helped us get a great deal and get into something super spacious and luxurious for our family! A 2026 GMC Yukon XL! Once we got approved we were shortly turned to finance which was even more pleasant! We were helped by (I believe his name was) Arturo! He was amazing, my Husband and I were very pleased by his customer service both his and Leslye’s! He got us lower payments and the whole process took 5 minutes! Let’s not mention they do have a seperate Kids Room, which was perfect for our active walker! She was entertained which helped us stay less stressed. We definitely will be going back with the both of them when my Husband is ready to purchase his brand new truck!

Bought a truck from Josh Valdez this past week, and what a great experience! Josh was very professional and got me setup with my new work truck. If you need a vehicle go visit Josh, and the great staff at South San Antonio Buick GMC. Was by far the best truck buying experience I have had in a long time! Buyers beware. I contacted this dealership looking for a straightforward, aggressive OTD price on a vehicle—especially since I live 45 minutes to an hour away depending on traffic. I also had reasonable questions, like why two Sierra 1500 Denalis with identical window stickers (color being the only difference - both colors costing the factory $495) were priced nearly $6,000 apart. They also had this same issue with some Sierra 1500 Elevations and tried to say they had different packages, when they clearly did not. Note: A lot of dealerships like to use the line about “different incentives on different cars/trucks,” and that’s true if it’s an entirely different trim (i.e., AT4, SLT, Yukon, etc.). BUT, two trucks with the same trim, same drivetrain, same engine, and identical window stickers should not have drastically different incentives. If they’re: • Both same Trim • Both same Engine • Both same DriveTrain • Both same Packages • Same model year Then the incentives should be the same. If they’re not, the dealer is either: 1. Misrepresenting incentives, or 2. Marking one up for profit and blaming “incentives.” So, instead of realizing they were dealing with a well informed buyer and just provide honest answers, I was met with the usual tactics: pressure to “just come to the lot,” vague claims that “not all vehicles share the same incentives,” and a handful of other misleading or shady responses. I attempted to speak with the GM multiple times and was repeatedly told he was out or unavailable for one reason or another. In the end, I bought my truck from Ancira, who gave me their best competitive price immediately—just like several other dealerships did. This dealership, however, was by far the worst experience I’ve had, and that’s saying something considering I served in the military and have purchased vehicles all over the country and out of the country. I can absolutely understand why they hold a 1.9-star rating on Yelp (at the time of this writing), and why others on here, have shared similar encounters. Truly disappointing from start to finish. Make sure you are WELL INFORMED and alert, if you are dealing with this place.

Had Josh help us get into a beautiful Buick enclave, he was so great! He had a positive attitude, listened to our budget and our story. Was super nice! Please ask for Josh when you go to gmc, he will get it done, no matter how late you stay, thanks Josh!

Went to this dealership just to “take a look” the Josh with the sales team worked his magic and got me into this. Couldn’t be happy with the truck and the customer service Josh Valdez and his team had. Worked with us incredibly well. Had a great experience at the dealership. Azael was the individual that helped myself and the wife get into new vehicles and looking for the best deals for us both. With his help I was able to get the best deal on this 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Ext Cab. I would truly recommended this dealership and Azael for the guy to help you get into that new vehicle.

We are here from Nova Scotia and my experience with this dealership has been fantastic. My service advisor was David Hill! David was very professional and appeared to really enjoy his work. I ran my own auto repair business in Canada and would hire David in a minute. The other thing I noticed while I was in the waiting area was that every one seemed to enjoy their employment at this dealership which speaks volumes about management. My wife and I really liked our time in this beautiful city and the Big Guy permitting, we will return . Thank you all !
