Due to the Corona Virus, and Social Distancing Orders, I am unable to hold classes inside the shop for all of our safety, until further notice from the Govt. to reopen nonessential businesses.
So, Let's have Online Sewing Classes LIVE!
4 Classes, once a week, 40 minutes each Class on Zoom, an online free video conference app
These Virtual Beginners Sewing Classes are modified and designed significantly different due to the circumstances, but just as fun an educational for you to learn how to sew on Zoom. And as you can see, you will be learning a Life Skill to start, which you will be able to use in times like these and better times to come in the comfort of your own home.
You must have your own Sewing Machine and a pair of scissors, thread and a bobbin. Students must register for the class at least 1 week in advance to receive the Sewing Pack required for the class in time due to Postal Service Delays as a result of the Covid-19.
Students will learn and familiarize themselves with the parts of the Sewing Machine and its function, how to Thread the Machine properly along with the Threading of the Bobbin. Then you will learn how to focus on sewing straight, curved and pivotal lines along with back tacking. Next we will make 1-2 Small Sewing Craft Projects in the time allowed during our Live Online Classes. Classes begin Saturday, April 11th @ 10:15 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
