This fashion class is for all the fashionistas ages 6-16 desiring to become a Fashion Designer when they grow up! So many of the children and tweens tell me they want to take sewing because they want to be a fashion designer.
This class will introduce these young designers to a Beginners Fashion Class and make a Creative Fashion Portfolio with Half Scale Designs. Kids must already know how to sew on the sewing machine.
Kids will learn about and how to design their own Mood Board for Inspiration, to learning how to Sketch out their Designs with the help of Fashion Plates, Templates and Croquis Sheets, Coloring in their Sketches, Choosing their fabrics, Draping their Designs on Half-Scale Dressforms and Sewing their Creations! We will put together a final Creative Portfolio Look Book!
