We are currently in discussion with a client surrounding what in police parlance would be a 'medium risk' enquiry, something well within our capabilities but what has shocked me is the previous quotes the client has been provided with to undertake the investigation.
As a client please do what you would normally do when requesting a service; shop around,
✅ ask what the anticipated result would look like,
✅ what qualifications/experience does the supplier have,
✅ ask for a breakdown of costs,
✅ are they members of a recognised professional body,
✅ meet face to face if appropriate to do so,
✅ is the undertaking they are proposing legal and can withstand legal scrutiny,
❌ you won't get examples of previous work due to confidentiality
Quality investigations aren't cheap, you get what you pay for, but they aren't as expensive as some suppliers seem to be charging. ⚡
