Son’s Chimney is great. Our direct vent oil furnace failed during the middle of a cold snap and the new system will vent through the flu. Since the flu hasn’t been used in almost 20 years we needed it cleaned and inspected before the new system could go in. The staff at Son’s was awesome and despite having a schedule booked out several weeks— found a slot for us the next business day so we could get our heat back asap. The tech was also professional and helpful!

On June 2, 2025, Son’s Chimney performed a pellet and wood stove cleaning service. Payment was made in full upon completion of the work. Prior to the cleaning, the pellet stove was functioning optimally, being only a few years old and in excellent condition. Consequently, it was a significant surprise when we attempted to use it in late September, particularly since my elderly mother resides with us and requires warmth. The stove initially started but subsequently shut off. We promptly contacted Son’s Chimney to inform them of the issue with the pellet stove and emphasized the presence of an elderly individual in our household. I was deeply disappointed with the extended time frame for the scheduled follow-up appointment for service that was provided in June 2025. However, today, Matt visited my residence to rectify the issue with my pellet stove, and his professionalism, knowledge, and courtesy were exceptional. He also took the time to provide me with detailed explanations regarding the specific features of my model. Ultimately, I am satisfied with the outcome of the work performed and will certainly utilize their services again. Thank you, Matt.

Excellent service and communication from Son’s Chimney! I recently had major work done on my two-story chimney, and the project was completed on schedule and to my full satisfaction. The onsite team was respectful, knowledgeable, and highly professional—keeping me updated on their progress and taking the time to answer all of my questions. Although chimney work can be messy, they kept everything well-contained, maintained the premises with great care, and always cleaned up after themselves, leaving my home spotless and comfortable. Truly a job well done and a great display of teamwork! I highly recommend Son’s Chimney for any of their services. They’ve continued to earn my trust over the many years I’ve used them, and I wouldn’t hesitate to rely on them again.

Sons Chimney has been doing my fireplace needs for over 20 years. They are the most caring and efficient servicing company in New England. They are very knowledgeable and a their integrity is top notch. They do everything for us from repairing our wood insert, to replacing gas burner parts and cleaning the chimney as installing a new chimney cover outside. Aaron, very professional and knowledgeable. Recommended that we get a thermostat to put on the pipe and gave us information about what the appropriate temperature should be and why he was really helpful. I really appreciated him sharing this information with us. Plus, he did a thorough job and was very neat about the cleanup.

Matt is awesome! He found a major problem with our gas fireplace insert that is a result of a poor installation by the business we purchased from. Thankfully, Matt was able to correct the problem and he will contact the manufacturer to let them know our situation and will try and get us a replacement part at no cost. We have full confidence that Matt will follow through and we will be up and running soon!

Office staff was very professional and worked with me to stay within my budget. Five stars. The install crew was great - efficient and effective. Five stars. We had used Son’s prior to our August 2025 install and will use them again. Recommend without reservation.

Bryce and his coworker were friendly and informative. Suggestions on how to move forward with venting a new boiler and pellet stove. Informed me the current chimney is not safe to use but offered suggestions on how to make it safe and usable in the future. They will be back to cap the chimney soon.
