Very happy with the work done by the Solid Drywall team. They came to drywall an old garage, converted to a garden suite. The framing was a bit crooked on the ceiling, and probably a bit crooked on the walls too. The team took time to correct this, so my finished walls are smooth and true. The team started on time and finished ahead of schedule. Great job. Would recommend.

I would highly recommend Solid Drywall ! I read reviews, and I value their input when making a decision, so when writing a review, I take it very seriously as I consider it an act of trust. I am a retired tradesperson and as such I believe my standards to be quite high. We removed a bulkhead, 2 load bearing walls, and installed two LVL beams to create an open floor plan in our 1950’s bungalow. This left the original plaster ceiling with 4 ft wide openings running the length and width of the main floor, as well as large area of wall and ceiling where we had removed a bulkhead. The goal was a seamless repair, but this required a skilled tradesperson as the original plaster is 3/4 of an inch thick and drywall is 1/2 thick. To make it even more challenging the plaster has a different finish and time had resulted in a bit of sagging in some areas. We interviewed many drywall companies, and decided to go with Danny and the team at Solid Drywall. We could not be happier with our choice. Their work was very good and their price fair, so we ended up having them complete a few other small repairs . I base my positive recommendations on the following attributes 1. They were responsive. If I emailed, or called they responded in a timely manner, and often immediately! 2. Their work was flawless, they paid attention to the details 3. Their price was very competitive, and I believe fair value for the quality of the work and the time spent completing the work. 4. They were transparent about their pricing and there were no surprises at the end. 5. They were respectful of the fact that they were in our home and we were living there. We care-give a few days a week and they were very accommodating to that. 6. Danny encouraged us to let him know about anything that we were not satisfied with after paint. I felt this was genuine and if there had been anything, I would have felt comfortable to call them to repair it. There was nothing. 7. They were reliable. They came when they said that they were going to, and even offered solution’s to start earlier, so that we did not have to have to live a very cold house as a result of the heat escaping into the attic through the open ceiling. 8. They worked hard to finish as quickly as possible 9. Drywall repairs are by nature messy, but they had a state of the art filtering machine that really helped with air quality and they installed protection on the floors and cleaned before leaving every night. We would recommend Solid Drywall without any hesitation, and we would definitely use them again if the need arises. Danny and Crew……. Our experience with Danny was excellent. We had drywall hung and finished in the family room and kitchen and the job required two phases to complete. Danny was fully accommodating and was able to complete the family room and after a week return to complete the kitchen. The flexibility was greatly appreciated and was accommodated without issue and the ongoing communication throughout was fantastic. The finished work exceeded our expectations and we will definitely use Danny again and we won’t hesitate to refer Solid Drywall to family and friends.

We had a great experience hiring Solid Drywall to do insulation, wall and ceiling drywall, and an attic hatch in our garage. They were professional from the very start. We were very impressed with the detailed itemized quote, which also contained an estimated time of completion that turned out to be accurate. They replied quickly to our questions over email and were very accomodating. For instance, we had some insulation left over from a previous job, and they agreed that they could use it, and they lowered the fee they charged us for materials to account for this. They also accomodated a few last minute additions to the scope (patching up after some electrical work that was done elsewhere in the house, as well as taping and mudding for another wall in the garage that had been drywalled several years ago). Overall, we're very happy with the end result. The walls and ceiling are smooth and the garage looks great.

Danny was a pleasure to work with! Very professional and I was very impressed at the prep work to protect our home from dust, paint splatter, and debris. We had major water damage and not only was he able to diagnose that there was no mold, he drywalled and painted (used paint match since I didn't have the old paint) to make every area affected brand new!
