Welcome to Soda The Salon, Tweed Head's favourite arty hair space.
Soda The Salon is a creative hair studio located in the heart of Bay Street, offering a range of specialist hair services, focusing heavily on lived-in blondes, balayage, large colour corrections and very very good hair cuts.
The salon plays home to several highly experienced hairstylists from all over Australia, and opens its doors 6 days a week, early til late.
Soda prides itself on providing their clients a non-pretentious, relaxing, authentic, one-on-one hair experience, with a side of free comedy!! In a little nutshell, if you like feeling comfy and getting great hair at the same time, Soda is the salon for you.

SODA the Salon is one of the best hairdressers I’ve gone to. I understand trying a new salon for the first time is daunting but after my cut I have found immense trust in this salon. I was greeted with the owners cute dog. The place was warm and welcoming despite the cold winter outdoors. Everyone was smiling and the service despite being 10 minutes early was fast and accommodating. My stylist was Amalie, she herself was beautiful and makes beautiful haircuts. We talked through what we wanted, if everything was ok, washed the hair and got to styling. I got a trim and some face shaping pieces. She had so much attention to detail, and her options and check-ins a long the way were thoughtful and calming. I walked out smiling and bouncing, so happy with the result. Would come back many times, 100% recommend. Thank you SODA.

Had a great experience! Loulou was fantastic, so friendly, confident, and definitely knew what she was doing with that hair dryer! The salon was so welcoming and all of the staff were lovely.
I’m always a little nervous going to the hairdresser because of my hair dye allergy, but everyone took extra care to make sure everything was cleaned thoroughly, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m on the Gold Coast!
