Couldn't be happier with our full-service move (Sacramento to SF) with Smooth Moving, from beginning to end. They have a very impressive, tech-enabled booking and estimate platform, plus they came out to do a free in-person estimate beforehand to plan out the work. We had to move our date a few times, and each time the process was seamless. We received plenty of contact in the days leading up to the move with all of our questions answered. On the day of the move itself, the crew showed up right on time and worked efficiently and effectively despite a long day (almost 12 hours). Everything was packed with care, and not a single item was lost or broken. They were gracious about wearing non-slip shoe covers because our floors had just been refinished. On the day after our move, we received a courtesy phone call from Travis, our coordinator/point of contact, which we thought was a very nice touch. When we had trouble finding a few items the next day, Travis reached out to the crew, who were able to pass along information that helped us locate what we were looking for. This is a company that clearly prides itself on impeccable customer service.

The team of three guys came right on time and worked really hard. They carefully unassembled, packed and unpacked my house in 4-1/2 hours. Everyone from Travis who took the order and the guys that handled the move were very friendly and helpful. The only slightly negative thing I’d say is that they said they couldn’t hook up my washer/dryer set, but I’m sure they had a good reason because they went overboard to do anything else they could during the move. Great company and reasonable price!

Just completed my second move with the help of Smooth Moving. These guys are incredible. They’re efficient; they are extremely careful (they wrap all furniture and fragile items); and the communication throughout was fantastic. One bedroom—including disassembly and reassembly of a couple items—took three hours. They make a stressful event…well, smooth.
