*PLEASE READ BEFORE BRINGING YOUR TRUCK HERE* I wouldn’t recommend this company due to price gouging, lack of communication, lousy time management and poor workmanship. This company does not take pride in their work. I dropped off my 05 Volvo roll off truck on 5/15/22 because it needed the transmission rebuilt. I picked it up on 8/24/22 and was charged $6000. I purchased a part for the transmission that was never put in, but I was charged for it. On 1/21/23 the bell housing on the transmission broke because the cross member was not put back on. I had to call a wrecker service myself to have it dropped off at smith diesel performance and repair because I was unable to get ahold of Chad. Once we got there, Chad told me he would take a look at the truck, get with my insurance and give me a call. While the truck was at the shop Chad would not return my calls or texts. The messages had said delivered and read. I finally got ahold of Chad on 3/28/23. He informed me the truck was done and I have picked it up. I was charged $5000 this second time. As I’m checking out the truck I’ve noticed that the crossmember is still not put on, the air line brackets are not bolted back, and the wire harness is not bolted back. At this point you would be better off taking your truck to a shade tree mechanic.

Have had to visit the shop multiple times. I own and operate a moving business and when I break down or need routine maintenance, it's seemingly in the worst times possible. Chad gets my trucks in and out every time to save me money in truck rental. The communication is always amazing. Which is a huge deal in the area and for me to be able to handle the logistics of my business. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Chad has always taken good care of us and got our issues resolved in a timely manner. The last time we came in we had a blown intercooler, and he had our service vehicle back on the road in a reasonable time.

I could go on and on about how pleased we are with them and their quality of work and how much they care about getting you back on the road! Only wish they worked on my non diesel vehicles too! Smith's Diesel was very accommodating. It is worth the 40 minute drive to take my food truck there to get worked on. I trust Chad and his guys to make sure everything is safe to be on the road.
