The dos and don'ts of a painting service
Don'ts
- Don't paint the door or window frames.
- Don't paint the wall without using an extension pole.
- Don't paint when there is the sun shining directly on the wall until you've patched any holes in the plaster.
Dos
- Use a power washer to clean off dirt, lichen, and old paint from the surface of your walls before painting them.
- Paint in sections no larger than 4 square feet, keeping in mind that it will take longer to dry depending on the thickness of the paint applied.
- Paint in cool, dry conditions - not when it's hot or humid outside!
