1. Tell them early: Let your kids know about the move well before it happens so they have time to process the change.
2. Let them help: Kids will naturally become more excited for a move if they get to help. Consider letting them pack up their toys and clothes.
3. Keep routines: A move is a big change for a kid, so it's important that everything doesn't change at once. Does your family always eat tacos on Tuesday? Then keep that tradition alive at your new home!
