Smart Call came promptly to our address to service and repair our heat interface unit and to restore our hot water. He was smart, polite and pleasant and his professional approach especially with regard to distancing and virus protection was extremely reassuring. The price was reasonable and he was clean and tidy throughout the job. He explained very clearly what he had done and how the system worked which was really useful and he was extremely knowledgeable. Smart Call answered my request quickly when the HIU unit failed to provide hot water. I called on Saturday and they came out the following Monday. The engineer quickly found the problem and fortunately had the required replacement valve in his van so no second visit was required. He quickly and efficiently fixed the valve and adjusted the system to provide the correct temperature water to all basins, baths, etc.

Matthew knows HIUs and is an excellent plumbing engineer. Very clean. Punctual. Takes pride over his work. Replacing a HIU is not a small job and i would definitely recommend using smartcallph for this type of detailed work.

I have been having issues with the HIU in the flat I rent and have had a number of people come over and try and fix with no luck. I found Matthew to be very helpful and knowledgeable about the HIU, he was able to come on the day I called and have the issue fixed by the time he left the flat. Was referred to this business who I have no idea was not included in routine service, was emailed about a date but never confirmed on a time, then showed up randomly and was told a call out fee of £120 +vat to follow. Thanks if this is not unprofessional, I’m not sure what can be worse. Personal note, they are very likely sad because other business did the job in a much more timely manner than them.
