Review of Simple Stay Seoul – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at Simple Stay Seoul and I was really satisfied with my experience 🥰 📍 The location is super convenient – very close to the subway station, making it easy to get around. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so food and shopping are never a problem. It’s also easy to travel to places like Hongdae, Myeongdong, and Dongdaemun. 🛏 The room was clean, tidy, and cozy with a minimalist style. The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the basic amenities. The heating worked well (which is very important during winter in Korea 😆). 🤝 The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and smooth. 💰 The price is reasonable for such a central location in Seoul. It’s perfect for travelers who want convenience without needing a luxury hotel. 👉 If I visit Seoul again, I would definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in this Hotel. It is centrally positioned you can easily access subway lines 1,3 and 5 It is close to the follow main areas in Seoul Ikseon dong Gwangjang market Insadong Myeongdong Gyeongbokgung Place is not too far away There are many restaurants and a seven eleven near by. We ate a simple but nourishing breakfast each morning . Our rooms were very clean They staff were very helpful. They have a modern Laundry (Washing machine and dryer) on the roof top.Washing powder is provided and you use a credit card to operate. Our room had both a bath and shower. They even have a storage locker in reception and self checkin if you need it otherwise reception is staffed most of the time We would definately stay again. Acess to Incheon airport is not too difficult via subway from this hotel either

I stayed here for six days because the price was affordable, the location was convenient, and breakfast was included. The male staff member working at night was excellent. He recommended must-eat Korean foods and even helped me set up Netflix so I could enjoy my stay. I truly appreciated his kindness and support. However, my experience with the young female staff member working during the daytime was very different. There were too many rigid rules. On the first day, I was told that breakfast would be removed exactly at 9:30 AM with no flexibility. On the second day, I was told that food could not be brought into the room. The overall service experience felt inflexible and stressful due to unnecessary regulations. While I was still eating, she removed the napkins from my table without asking. I had not finished my meal. Basic courtesy, such as asking first, would have been appreciated. Additionally, I observed several hygiene concerns: • A fork fell onto the floor and was not rewashed before being placed directly into the drying machine. • Plates were placed on the floor before being put into the dryer. • Cleaning detergent was stored in a mineral water bottle without any labeling. These practices raise concerns about basic hygiene standards and sanitation management.

Nice stay in a great location, but be aware there are so many 5-star reviews because they offer a free gift in exchange. The room was fairly clean and the staff was nice, but the shower curtain in my room was a bit moldy and should be replaced, considering it’s such a cheap item. Felt a bit outdated too with no reading light, etc. Breakfast is included and is a more western style, it was nice for some days, coffee machine in lobby was nice also. I did like the key code entry and the laundry room on the top floor was great. Overall was a nice stay and I would stay there again.

We loved our stay here! The check-in lady was super friendly and allowed us to check in early and even upgraded our room for free. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. We would stay again. The surrounding area has lots of great food options at night and is close to the Jongno subway station (use exit #4 to save yourself a lot of stairs!) The bathroom is in a mini-room, and the room has a mini-fridge and air purifier.

I really like that this hotel has a keyless entry feature, which is perfect for security because the door automatically locks later at night. The staff isn’t always at the front desk but is available immediately if you message on whatsapp, super helpful and friendly. They also leave a cart out of water and toiletries which is amazing to just pick up. The rooms are small but the bed is large and the water pressure/temperature is really good.

The wife and I stay here for 6 nights. Location is 10/10. Two minute walk from exit 5 or 6 of Jongno 3 underground station. Down a side street but minutes away from streets packed with restaurants and a few bars. Jongno station is a few stops from Seoul station and City Hall. Price was reasonable and included basic breakfast, scrambled egg on toast was my staple. Room was very small and basic, this is a budget hotel but worthy of 5 stars simply because we wanted a functional clean room in a great location at a good price. Large TV worked well as did the fridge and air conditioning, kettle and hairdryer provided. No view at all from window. Bathroom had a good shower but minor complaint was a bit dark , small sink with no mirror above it. All staff were fantastic. Everything was clean. Laundry facilities are first class.

We're here to meet our daughter, and the hotel's in an incredible spot – super central but still quiet. It's only a 30-minute walk to the main palace in Seoul. The rooms are big and clean, and the food is amazing too. I totally recommend it.

We had a great stay! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super kind and helpful with local recommendations. Breakfast was good with lots of options — eggs, salad, sausage, bread, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, and even ramen. The room was quiet and spotless. The bathroom sink was a bit low and the shower isn’t separated, so some water splashes, but it wasn’t a big deal. Location is perfect — just a minute from the subway and surrounded by cute cafés. The area gets lively at night but we never had any noise issues. Highly recommend!
