Silvertree Seniors of Jamestown - Westerberg Tower (Main Office)

I have experience with this place for about 5 years now. It is horrible. They tell you they want you to feel like this is your home, but once you are here it is complete opposite. The rules here are ridiculous. I showed the lease to someone who understands law and they said the lease is full of things that are not enforceable, but because they are in there, management and corporate doesn't make it easy. Not only are the rules questionable, they are different for different people. You are supposedly only allowed to have someone spend the night 14 nights a year. I know a woman who couldn't have her granddaughter spend the night because she was afraid to get kicked out, but other residents actually get away with people moving into their place. They try to hide it but everyone knows. Then there are few residents who want people to come over and they are given strict amount of time they are allowed and if anyone complains they are told that they won't be allowed to come over anymore. Then there are others who are complained about for legitimate reasons and managers don't care. They pick and choose what rules apply to who and there is nothing you can do about it. The community room is supposed to be place where everyone can go, but when it comes to making it the residents' there are strict rules there too. Nothing here makes sense and talking to the managers is pointless. They ignore you or make up some kind of lie or excuse to shut you up. Their most frequent comment is "We are looking into it." I don't recommend this place.

Silver Tree Seniors of Jamestown helped me to receive an accessible apartment that I truly needed for my physical and mental health! Kathryn was always professional, caring, and kind. She kept me apprised of every aspect of the process and where we were within that process. Kathryn also strived to be sure every inch of my apartment was perfect! I am very grateful to be in a secure and safe living environment.

I have lived at Silvertree b4and moved to another Senior Housing within walking distance to Walmart, Wegmans, and pharmacies.Due to family emergency I had to move. Now that the "dust has settled " I'm back with Silvertree. Staff is so courteous and respectful of the Senior population. Everything is maintained beautifully and promptly, and the application process was so easy. I'm so glad I'm back! Now that I have another Senior Housing to compare it to, I didn't appreciate just how fabulous Silvertree is.

I had to move out because of my dog barking. Now there won't let me come back . Saying I broke my lease. I didn't ! My dog is older now 6 and don't bark as much. I always paid my rent on time and kept the place clean.

The rules in public housing for a reason if you don't live there you don't belong there this is a safety issue what was the people that are living with a senior citizen are of bad behavior issues no one wants that so if Jamestown Apartments are not allowing tennis to live in the building that do not belong there they shouldn't force it and get the senior citizen thrown out because like I said before it's a safety issue
