Silver Taxi

Not sure what happened to my first review a couple years ago but I called this company on a 100+ degree heat day with my 4 year old when my car broke down and was quoted 45 minutes to pick up, no one showed up after an hour and nobody answered the phone when i tried to call and see where they were. I was as being picked up in town off fruitvale and dropped off by bakersfield college. After no answer another company came within 10 minutes.

My friends and I were stranded in Boron, ca near Mojave after our car broke down. The car had to be towed and we didn’t have a way to get home to Oakland. No taxi service was willing to pick us up so far in the middle of nowhere and make the long drive late at night, except for Silver Taxi. They picked us up at 2am and drove us all night to Oakland, a 5 and a half hour drive. Excellent communication, comfortable car which fit our plethora of luggage, and super friendly driver. They saved our lives!

I will always use silver taxi when here. Your young driver is always nice helpful and hell cute as all get out. But really when I first came here I was having a lot of trouble with an ex. Your driver helped me find help ,places I would be safe etc. in short he took the time to help me while driving me and he didn't charge me 200. For it either.! So now I don't really care about prices because I trust him and for me that's a hard thing to do. So THANK YOU so much and will probably need you again tonite

Our driver Junior was so helpful with our situation. He was very knowledgeable with information to help us. He was very pleasant and patient with us. I would give more stars if available. He deserves a gold medal.

Arturo saved the day! My Lyft driver didn’t show up (beware of Lyft scammers drivers. I got charged for failing to show for the ride when it was the driver that didn’t show up. It’s a hustle.) Silver taxi arrived quickly and got me to the airport on time. I highly recommend this family owned business you can trust!! We will be using Silver taxi for our airport rides from now on!

My family and I were unexpectedly stranded in McFarland late at night on our way home to Sacramento, and we were incredibly fortunate to find Arturo from Silver Taxi. He not only offered us a very fair price for what turned out to be a four-hour trip home, but he was also friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. Despite the late hour (11 PM to 3 AM) and the long distance, Arturo kept the ride comfortable and safe, and we had a long, engaging conversation that made the time fly. I was already tired from driving earlier in the day, but his professionalism and great company made all the difference. If you ever need a reliable, trustworthy driver—especially in a stressful situation—Arturo and Silver Taxi are the ones to call. I can’t recommend them enough.

I simply asked to leave a message for the owner with the receptionist or on his voicemail. She was incredibly rude to me and then disconnected the call. I would never do business with them again. Train that elderly woman because she clearly hates her job!

I used Silver Taxi for a trip from Bakersfield, CA to the Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville. The service was excellent — fast response time, very professional, and the best price around. Highly recommend!

Great service, The only service that answered late at night, from Arvin to Bakersfield and it was cheaper than Uber, paid by credit card. Clean vehicle and very knowledgeable driver.
