The weather in Northern Nevada is unpredictable. Don't let this cold snap bring your irrigation system to its knees. Sierra Nevada Repair recommends at least a quick drain out of the system before tonight.
To do this you should turn off the water to the irrigation system, open the drains and set all ball valves on your vacuum breaker (including test ports) to 45 degrees.
