Was a recent resident and had no issues. Only reason for moving was needing more bedrooms. The two bedrooms are very spacious and any issue I had they were very responsive on fixing.

I have lived here for almost a year now, and I have not experienced any of the issues others had. I will be upfront right now and list the following issues I have had: the ac unit is too small to keep up fully in the summer, the leasing office can be a little slow at putting in information at times, the paint is chipping off inside and outside in some places, and the kitchen doesn't have any drawers (this is honestly the worst one). That's it. The inside of these apartments are spacious and nice. We haven't had mold or roaches. Our dogs love the area. We feel like it is a safe space to live. The management office is super nice and understanding. Maintenance comes within 48 hours of putting a request in and this man is super funny to talk to. Our neighbors are nice and everyone is dog friendly. It feels like a home rather than an apartment. I love the bay windows, the high ceilings, the private bathrooms, the extra storage space in the attic. You aren't hounded by the landlord or leasing office which I personally love. Are there small things that could be fixed up around the place? Yes. Does it impact our way of living? No. I would recommend living here, especially if you are a young adult or maybe living with a roommate or in in college. Can't wait to resign for another year!

The apartment itself was great for the price we paid. I never once saw a bug in my apartment and I pretty much never needed maintenance. However, management never responded to texts or emails, and basically only care about getting money out of you. Once we sent in our request to move out, they basically stopped caring about anything we needed. My last month of living there, something happened in the apartment above me and there was a leak in my ceiling for 3-4 weeks. I sent multiple texts and emails that I never got responses from. Because they never came to look at it, the entire bathroom ceiling has water damage as opposed to fixing it when it started. I left the apartment two months ago and we finally got our deposit check a week ago. Management has refused to issue a new check since the bank refused to deposit the first one due to verbiage. We were finally able to deposit the check, but with no help from the apartment management. If you're looking for an affordable place to live, I'd move on and look for a place with better management. I should also add that the lawn crew shows up at 6:30 AM on weekdays and weekends and blocks the parking lot at the end of the road. I mentioned this to management once but it appears they never talked to the lawn crew or the lawn crew just didn't care.

Lived here for a year and a half and will not be living here when my lease is up for a variety of reasons. I'm tired of calling in to have charges removed. My insurance that I get through siegen oaks is constantly being cancelled, I am charged $65 fees, sometimes more than once, and then have to spend a bunch of time trying to get it fixed. Had a hellacious time getting roach problem fixed- havent used kitchen and have had everything in plastic containers for going on 9 months. Pest control that is hired to come doesn't do anything. I caulked areas in kitchen that had holes, but believe these roaches are a result of another apartment (there is 4 to a building). There is always a trail of trash leading to the dumpsters from people not taking any accountability, along with piles of dog waste that never gets addressed. Was promised new blinds by management for re-signing without ever getting any. Have continual problems with dishwasher and laundry. Dishwasher took 4 visits before they ordered me another one. Laundry machine still hasn't been addressed after two years - tub is not properly filling with water and sometimes have to add several gallons. People that are signing new leases will be paying $400 more than what I am paying and there is no way in hell this place is worth that amount- nor will I be resigning. Look somewhere else. There is constant road noise and people race down this stretch of siegen and into burbank.

Things have progressively gotten worse since I’ve lived here. My upstairs loft area has had mold for almost a month. So much so that my son and I have gotten quite sick. There hasn’t been any sense of urgency regarding this situation. I also had to tell them multiple times that the ceiling above my shower was peeling?! How does that even happen….it was a nice place when I first got here a year ago but it’s an old building and renovations clearly aren’t at the top of their priority list. Will not be renewing my lease for this reason. There was also a promise of “upgrades” with renewing my lease 8 months ago that have not happened. Management is not very organized and don’t communicate with one another effectively. I live on the back street, furthest from the road but we still hear constant ambulances and road racing so it’s safe to say insulation is also pretty much nonexistent.

I dont recommend these apartments to anybody because The leasing company is Money Hungry! I felt I had to review my experience to inform others. They always find a reason to get extra money out of you. The apartment was decent and i liked the neighborhood. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and safe. But i can say that quietness and safety can change depending on your neighbors. For the majority of my stay here I had some very problematic neighbors at first and the leasing office did not do much to resolve the issue. There was alot of tension between me and neighbors and i never knew what would happen because of that. These neighbors were huge bullies. I had a guest that was scared to come back to visit because my neighbors blocked her in because she was parked in "their spot". Parking spots are not assigned here and she did this out of malice because another spot was avalaible next to her unit. I had contacted the leasing office multiple times over a period of 8 months to report being blocked in by these people. It seemed like the leasing office defended the people because they had been staying there longer than me. Maintence fixes things when they feel like it if at all. They never let you know if they're coming if they do decide to come. i had a vent broken in my bathroom that they never fixed and constantly had problems with my breaker. I even had a maintence man complain to me about doing his job. My air was not blowing cool so I requested someone to come check it out. The maintence man complained that he was tired, hot, and wanted to go home. He said he would return after lunch, but He never came back to fix my air. Thank God I was able to resolve the issue myself. Ive always had problems with ants, spiders and beetles in my apartment. I got anxiety everytime i had to call or go to the leasing office because i know that either I'll be charged a fee or either no one will try very hard to help me. It's not worth almost $1000. I feel you can find a better experience somewhere else. And people that really care about their tenants. Im glad my lease has ended and that i have gone my separate ways with Siegen Oaks and Patrician Mangement. I will not rent from ANY apartments managed by Patrician Management in the future.

Serious roach infestation. We’ve never lived anywhere with roaches and have been battling them for several months now. While the office has been responsive - all they do is send pest control - who just spray and leave bait, but nothing has helped. They’re everywhere. In kitchen, bathrooms, living room, bedrooms and have even been woken by one crawling on us in bed. We essentially are paying for a kitchen we cannot even use. I expect we’ll be dealing with this issue until the end of our lease, so it’s hard to talk about any positives with such a major problem. I read a review that was recently left by another resident (on a different site) complaining of the infestation, so we know it is a complex issue and not limited to just our unit. Rent has gone up way too high, especially to live with pests. I would be very wary about renting here. It’s sucks to not feel comfortable in what is supposed to be home.

Im currently leaving in the apt and so far the apt are really good for the price and the location, managent I dont know if they change it but now the manager is always being very helpful, answer the phone calls, emails, etc. Shes is really good and professional, the area is quiet and you alve also the BREC parks the one on highland and burbank also walmart and andersons are close too, loundries are also close in the case you dont have a washer and a dryer, mall of Louisina is close too, Perkins Rowe the libary, the South Baton Rouge Charter Academy and many other good places.
