Absolutely first class service from Richard from start to finish. He came to do a site survey within an hour of my first enquiry, and now 2 weeks later I have a log burner which the whole family is enjoying. Excellent value and top-notch service, and all work done efficiently and with no mess.

We had our first ever Log Burner installed by these guys in April 2025 and we can wholeheartedly recommend them to come and do whatever work you need them to carry out. As is recommended we sought three quotes and visited a few establishments and these guys went over and above what we expected. They traveled from the other side of Shrewsbury to us here in Telford. Richard came out initially and spent time going through the requirements and questions that we had and he was more than happy and come back days later to answer further questions that I had. Their workmanship is exemplary, all rubbish and mess made was cleared away as and while they worked. They are very friendly and polite and were happy to explain the process as they carried out the work. Both Richard and Ray are a great team and work well together and with the varying jobs entailed in installing our Log Burner. If you’re considering having one installed or any other related work done we strongly recommend you get these guys in to quote you for the job. Investing in a log burner is a big expense, so after receiving 4 quotes, I decided to entrust Shropshire Fireplaces & Stoves. From the off, Richard was informative, polite and courteous. When it came to installation, Richard and Ray worked on with no fuss, only coming to get me for advice on aesthetic choices. The front room was protected with dust sheets and kept as tidy as possible throughout. I genuinely can’t fault their workmanship and professionalism throughout the whole process. Once finished, Ray took me through the instructions and what not to do’s etc. Communication has been maintained from handover to receiving the HETAS cert several weeks later. We’re very happy to have chosen Shropshire Fireplaces & Stoves and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a new log-burner. My partner and I are very happy with the work completed by Shropshire Fireplaces and Stoves. Richard snd Ray are very professional. We were kept informed at all stages and we valued Richard’s advice and feedback on areas that we weren’t sure about. They were in and out within a number of hours this morning and took all packaging relating to the stove installation with them. I am happy to recommend them and plan on using them again.

I had a recommendation from a friend to use this company. We were told by one fitter that it wasn't possible have a stove fitted without rebuilding the breast, another company that they would be unable to put the flue through the chimney so they'd have to go out the roof instead and quoted over £5k. Richard x2 came out quoted us and fitted our fireplace. They did a really good job for an extremely good price. I would highly recommend their company to anyone I know who's having a log burner as they are so competent and no lazy when it comes to awkward installs. 5*

Awesome Job by Richard and Ray ( Jack Reacher) quote was received very quickly unlike previous quote which took ages to arrive. End job price was very close to quote which is great. We asked for a few mods in terms of putting a TV above our fire, and asked for a separate storage box to be cut into our existing chimney unit, all received with a "yes we can sort that". We had several small issues with our house in terms of pipes and wiring but all were overcome with no issue. The burner we ordered ( separate company) had a faulty door, however Richard sorted that for us and came back in his own time to replace for us. Great service, thanks very

Richard and Ray fitted my log burner over 2 days . I'm over moon with the finished result (albeit the decorating is yet to be completed by me ).they excavated the cavity and the obvious and necessary mess from old bricks occurred , but everything was cleared up taken away. They worked quickly and efficiently and the price was brilliant for an excellent service and results. I love my new fire and definitely recommend this company. I wanted my Victorian fireplace restored so I could use it. The hearth had been stripped out and the chimney capped.
