Pramod ji took his time and understood our taste and we shopped for nearly 3 hours. Came only to take 1-2 authentic banarasi sarees and ended up buiyng 7 pure banarasi silk sarees of all sort. Beware of auto/taxi drivers as they won't bring you to this heavenly place. Most recommended shop for authentic banarasi sarees at wholesale rates as we visited the whole market before buying from them and it was the best decision. Visited this very beautiful store shri khatu ji wholesale bazar on my recent visit to Varanasi. They are amazing people with stunning collection of pure banarasi silk sarees. Shreyansh ji explained us different types of pure silk sarees and how to identify pure silk too. One plus point was that all pure silk sarees have government approved silk mark. So no tension of any cheating. Shri khatu ji is endeed the best banarasi saree shop in varanasi for authentic banarasi sarees. Must visit.

We went there during our trip to Varanasi. This shop was at the backside of our hotel. I absolutely loved the collection. From ethnic looks to preppy designs. Kora silk sarees were gorgeous. Would love to buy more in future. I bought two saree, went for one actually. Staff and owner was very cordial and considerate. I told them the colour which i like best and they showed me in those. One doesn't have to be in Varanasi to buy from them. They can show you the collection through video calling and would send the delivery of the chosen stuff all over India. They don't have online website yet. Really recommendable.

I visited their showroom in Banaras yesterday and I am extremely happy with their collection ,service and the fact that they maintain a fixed priced and their collection comes with a govt approved silk mark! It is close to impossible in Banaras to distinguish real silk from fake! Semi silk sarees are all over the place and as a layman it is extremely difficult to understand the value of the saree ! I want to congratulate the Sri Khatu Shyam owner and team for maintaining quality along with running a value based business so well ! They have great collection and the store is easy to access in the city and their designs are lovely. The staff is good and was very helpful.
