Shoreworx technicians Barrie and Terry have been tasked with supporting a new retail store in Columbus that is scheduled to open later this year. Their work on this project has been extensive and highly detailed, beginning with the installation of new Category 6 Ethernet cabling from the MDF/IDF to each of the 285 specified device locations throughout the store.
In addition to the structured cabling installation, Barrie and Terry have also set up temporary registers to allow the store to remain operational while construction continues. Because the store is open to customers during the day, much of this work is performed overnight, requiring careful coordination, efficiency, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Beyond the physical installation, they are also responsible for providing real-time documentation and photo reporting at every stage of the project. This ensures full visibility for the client and vendor partners and helps keep the project on schedule and compliant with all requirements.
This project highlights the level of dedication, flexibility, and attention to detail that Shoreworx brings to complex retail environments.
