Recent Comprehensive Category 6 Installation:
Network Equipment Setup:
-Installed a 2x4 plywood backboard at the network equipment location.
-Mounted a 12U pivot rack on the backboard, positioned centrally to accommodate deep switch installations.
-Installed a Panduit 24-port patch panel, labeled as "A" and "B".
-Added a power strip at the bottom of the rack and a 2U shelf above the power strip.
Cabling Installation:
-Deployed 28 Cat 6 plenum cables according to the attached floor plan.
-Installed 2 Cat 6 cables for wireless access points (WAPs) in the waiting room ceiling and the hallway ceiling outside the room.
-Connected 28 Panduit patch cables in both 3' and 7' lengths.
