Our team at Shoreworx is currently engaged in a detailed project for a banking client in Columbus, where we are installing new Commscope Category 6 cabling. This intricate task involves the removal of over 150 outdated cables from existing cubicles, including extracting these from the patch panels and ensuring proper disposal of the old cabling materials.
Following the removal, our technicians have been hard at work installing new cabling routes to align with the positions of new cubicle power poles. This step included carefully routing the new cables through all 150 cubicles and terminating them with new CAT6 jacks and patch panels. Today, the focus is on wrapping up the termination process and conducting Fluke testing on all the newly installed Category 6 cables to ensure top-notch performance and reliability.
Once this phase is complete, our efforts will shift to the other side of the same building, where we will replicate this comprehensive process for another 150 cubicles. This project highlights our commitment to precision and efficiency in managing large-scale networking installations for our clients.
