I recently hired Shoreline Hardscapes &Construction to repair my front walk way, pool patio and access gate to the pool. The team did a phenomenal job and I and very appreciative. I had a walkway that was in need of some serious attention (see photos). Shoreline Hardscapes recently removed my old, faded brick walkway, and replaced it with a beautiful new paver walkway with a charcoal border and granite step. From start to finish, their professionalism really stood out. Communication was excellent throughout the process—prompt call backs, clear updates, and they always showed up when they said they would. The demo crew did a fantastic job prepping the site, ensuring everything was done right before the install crew came in. The result looks amazing and I don't have to feel embarrassed by my walk each time people come to my home. I would recommend Shoreline Hardscapes to anyone looking for quality work and dependable service.

Shoreline Hardscapes just completed a job that entailed replacing my front steps, asphalt walkway and driveway with pavers. The job was done exactly as discussed and agreed upon during the initial consultation. I found the quote for the job to be very reasonable. Beyond that, the job was completed in ten business days. As the work was performed I paid close attention to the crew and was always impressed with their work ethic and diligence. They always left the site clean and orderly. I ofter interacted with the crew and found them to be pleasant and respectful. The Shoreline crew is a great bunch of guys who deliver quality work!

Shoreline was great to work with- schedule worked out where they were able to get the job done much earlier than quoted. Crew was friendly and respectful, always left the property clean at the end of each day. Project instantly added value to my property, and have been getting a lot of compliments from passerby's. Cant wait to use them again!

Shoreline Hardscapes "Rocks". Ian and Christine represented a quality outcome in our first discussion, and they delivered big time. Materials delivered with care; the excavation crew tore up my old walk and worked hard to deliver their part of the project on time. The installation team was awesome. I was continuously impressed with their craftmanship, teamwork and precision during the build. **ZERO Stars** Shoreline Construction (formerly Sand Castle Construction) is an absolute scam and I wouldn't trust them with anything. Led by Ian, the most unprofessional and aggressive owner, this company will rip you off and leave you with a mess. Here's what happened: I hired them to level my yard, install fresh loam, and seed the area. Instead, I got junkyard dirt filled with massive glass chunks and rocks—some over 18” long and 8” wide. Ian assured me that the glass would “settle into the roots when the grass grew.” That was an outright lie and a ridiculous statement. I spent weeks raking and digging this glass out of my yard. Meanwhile, Ian had the nerve to tell me to “tell my 8-month-pregnant wife to have a drink and calm down.” The yard was a safety hazard, and Ian couldn’t have cared less about the welfare of my toddler and newborn, my dog, or anyone else who might be on the property. He was all about taking my money and ignoring my concerns. To top it off, they did a patio that was decent work, but they randomly added a retaining wall without discussing it with me beforehand. Now, my kids trip over it daily. The worst part is, the yard was essentially level when the project started, and this random addition just made things worse. I gave Ian two+ years to make things right. After months of phone calls, texts, and sending him a letter of intent to sue, he ghosted me. Then I find out he declared bankruptcy under Sand Castle Construction and is now back at it under the name Shoreline Hardscapes &Construction. Ian asked me to pay in full upfront after 1 or two initial payments so I could skip the line and because he was "short on cash over the winter." I was more than happy to, and it’s clear I was taken for a ride getting low quality product etc. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. I have all the text messages, calls, and contracts to back up my story. If anyone thinks I'm being salty, reach out before booking with this crook. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Shoreline Construction and Ian are thieves. They’ll take your money, deliver subpar work, and then ghost you. Stay as far away as possible. I’m still fighting, but at this point, I don’t expect to see a dime back. Protect yourself—these guys will scam you blind.

These guys are great! Amazing work and honest pricing. They always pull all the stops to deliver. We had them do our backyard retaining wall. When they really impressed us, we then had them do our massive backyard patio. Lastly just this month Apr 2025 had them add a New England stone wall out front. 3 jobs and counting —highly recommend…Rye, NH

Ok, so here’s the review you need to make a decision. All contractors are pains in the asses, Ian is no exception. What does separate Ian from other contractors is how much he cares- he obsesses over every detail to make sure your hardscaping project turns out perfect. He will answer every call and text, mostly because he doesn’t sleep, but again because he’s as invested in your project as you are. His team works exceptionally hard and it shows in their work. I am a hard one to please, and I am in love with our newly transformed backyard. Hire Shoreline you won’t regret it, and Ian well he will grow on you.
