I had an excellent experience with Dr. Shewemi and his team. From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive. Dr. Shewemi took the time to explain every step of my treatment clearly, which made me feel comfortable and confident in his care. The quality of the treatment was outstanding, everything was done with great attention to detail and precision. Dr. Shewemi is gentle, patient, and really cares about his patients’ comfort. I’m extremely happy with the results and grateful for the care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Shewemi to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy dentist!

Shewemi Family Dental is Well worth the 2 hour ride each way. All the Staff is very friendly . They work as a team. Treat there patience like they are family. Explain everything in detail. Honest with what work needs to be done . No major up sell. Fantastic group. Keep up the great work.

Shewemi Family Dental is such a fantastic office. Pam does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Shewemi is so nice and explains everything so thoroughly. His assistant is also so funny and welcoming, what a great atmosphere!

Came to their Free Dental Day for a much needed extraction. Dr. Dan was great as was the assistant Ashleigh. Friendly, respectful and understanding. The extraction went smoothly and so far no issues. After seeing many dentists over the years, I would HIGHLY recommend Spoonwood dental.

Pam as been my dental hygienist for close to 25 years, and while I only see her twice a year, she is a without a doubt a big part of our family.. I always look forward to my cleanings. Further, I will add that we also miss Dr Jim and Jen very much. We loved to see them, even if I was getting teeth drilled. All of that being said, we feel confident in the next generation to care for our happy smiles. Highly recommend

Everyone is so friendly and at the same time very professional. I will miss Dr Savickas, but I have a lot of confidence in Dr Shewemi. 7/22/25 update: I am very impressed with Dr Shewemi. I lost a crown when I was on vacation and he was able to squeeze me in the day I returned. He removed and filled the decay that was under the crown and installed a temporary one. I've never had such a quick turn around from any dentist in my 70 years. 9/10/25: I had my teeth cleaned by Pam today and she is proof of the saying that "practice makes perfect". She is very gentle yet thorough. She is also very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I hope I never have to go to any other dental hygienist. 12/17/25: My wife broke the side of her tooth off and Dr Shewemi was able to see her the next day. He would have seen her the same day if she was in pain. During the visit he removed a broken piece of the tooth that was under the gum that would have caused problems. He continues to exceed our expectations.
