Called to see if there was availability, and the lady said "yes, how long?" I told her "an hour" she replied with the price of 75$ I got there she kept asking me "have you been here before?" I told her "yes a long time ago" she keeps saying she didn't remember me and I didn't recognize her either she looked new. My very first experience here was great, considering I always have a knotted up back and muscles all over. The first time I got a massage here it was light and professional even with the walking on the back. This lady was super heavy and I could barely breathe with her walking on my back, felt like she was going to burst my knee caps off, it hurt alot compared to the first ever massage here. She kept telling me i was tense, maybe bc my body was trying to protect itself from the heaviness of her walking on my back. I felt violated like she kept purposely rubbing my behind alot. I'd never had anyone stretch me out to where my upper body was exposed, with light curtains over the door being see through and hearing men in the back when I first got there i felt uncomfortable. Also I've never had a massage where the person would keep the towel or sheet off and rip my underwear half way off and exposed. I've gotten massages all over Anchorage since I was 19 and most of my favorite massage places closed down. Since I had a great experience the first time of course I'd return, but this was complete opposite. After continuously saying she did not recognize me once I was done. I felt relieved in my muscles and body, but still it was a horrible hour. I left with leaving a 5$ tip. She yelled at me and told me "what am I going to do with this! It's 20$ tip! The boss isn't going to give me this" I told her "sorry I didn't know tips and certain amounts were required." I was in a rush and I didn't have to leave an extra 5 dollars, bc it is my money and I didn't feel like it was a great experience this time around. "She said I've been there before I should know" well yes I have been here before and it was a totally different nicer lady. TIPS ARE EARNED NOT REQUIRED!!!! DO NOT COME HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. If I could give zero stars I would.

I was in dire need of a great massage. Amy the masseuse did wonders on my aching tight body! This Thai and deep tissue massage delivered more than I expected. Although they require pay up front plus tip. It’s so worth it! She is now my definitely go to person when I return back to Anch.

Made an appointment on Sunday and got right in. Definitely worth every penny at a very affordable price! Hands down, the best massage I have ever had! I wasn't expecting the masseuse to walk on me at first but throughout the massage, it felt amazing. You do have to give her a chance on communication, it's not perfect but she tries. I was referred here by a couple of friends stating this is one of the best places to get a massage in town. Upon arriving, I was quickly put at ease by the warm and welcoming staff. I opted for the hour long massage, as I was carrying a ton of tension in my shoulders and wanted it gone! The masseuse took this into consideration and focused most of their attention to my neck and shoulders. I was also treated to different stretches and pops! Very relaxing! If you’re apprehensive due to the location or building appearance, don’t be. There’s no weird shenanigans here, just an excellent massage and an awesome staff who actually listen to your needs. Will be visiting again frequently!

Best massage in Alaska! Had a sore back and could not move a muscle. Called in sick and went to get a massage. It was amazing! I did the hour and it was worth it. She knew exactly what to do and I regained mobility and ready to go back to work! I highly recommend Sherry’s for the best service and at a price you can afford. I’m definitely going back!
