Sheridan Hostel

Had reservations. No available rooms until after 4pm, even then had to get on a handwritten list. Management then used posted notes to manage the list. They lost one of our group member's reservations. We are in transit having just returned from the carrabean. This hotels feels like I'm in a 3rd rate 3rd world hotel in the depths of Columbia. The bathroom is subpar, only given 1 room key only 1 washcloth,halls smell and the swimming pool is pathetic. The bed is comfortable.. Well see if things improve. Breakfast... hopefully they won't throw a poptart at us on the way out. Anyway,I dlnt recommend unless you pay motel 6 prices... Not a fan.

This was the worst hostel experience imaginable. It felt more like a men's shelter than a proper hostel. Safety was a major concern from the start. The place had too many problems. I had to leave and find other lodging. I cannot recommend this establishment. Upon arriving, I encountered an issue with the locker code. I went to the front desk, but no one was there. I waited, then returned, but still found no staff. Giving up on waiting, I tried to sleep. The smell in the room was unbearable. The air quality was poor. The room temperature was between 78 and 81 degrees. I contacted the host about this. They stated the AC was at its maximum setting. The general area was dirty. The refrigerator was a mess. The bathroom was even worse. Do not trust the photos; they are misleading. This was not a hostel, it's men's shelter. It was a truly unpleasant place.

My stay at this hostel was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The property was exceptionally well-maintained, with beautifully landscaped gardens and a nice pool that added to the peaceful, quiet environment—perfect for unwinding. The hostel offered plenty of clean, well-equipped showers for guests, and the bunk beds were not only sturdy but also impressively spotless and fresh, clearly showing a strong emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene. While there was a brief wait to sign up at check-in, it was well worth it, especially with how warm and welcoming the front desk receptionist was. I would absolutely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable place to stay.

From the outside, the hostel looks nice and well-maintained, but the experience inside doesn’t match the appearance. The bathroom door barely works, which makes using it uncomfortable, especially when sharing the space. People openly smoke weed in the courtyard almost every day, and the smell drifts inside. Empty bottles and leftover alcohol often sit on the tables for hours or even days — no one seems to care. It feels like there’s little attention to cleanliness or basic rules. With a bit of effort from the staff, it could be a great place — but for now, it’s more frustrating than relaxing. By the way for parking extra $8.31. per days.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is a nightmare. I’ve been uncomfortable for 3 days — getting bitten by something in the room and the AC barely works. Couldn’t sleep. Couldn’t relax. I reported the issues and got zero help — office was closed, no one picked up, and no one came to check the room. This hotel is nasty, unprofessional, and clearly don’t care about guests. I’m not even from this city — just here waiting on dental work, and they got me in a hot, bug-infested trap. Save yourself the stress. Spend your money somewhere that actually cares if you sleep through the night without getting eaten alive. The beds are small, very small. This place looks like a jail and on top of that if you see them beds, there are people sleeping in the beds so you have no privacy and everyone in your room uses the same restroom.

Nice and friendly stuff. Very cozy and comfortable room. I recommend this place for staying

My stay at Sheridan Hostel was truly exceptional - from the moment we stepped in, the staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were impeccably clean,, and the high-quality amenities added an extra touch of elegance. We especially appreciated the office stuff. A perfect choice, I cannot wait to return

The stay was terrible. The Bathrooms aren't clean and smelled like strong urine my entire stay. Also the staff, especially the house maids are very rude. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, please do yourself a favor and find someplace better. Their prices are also ridiculous. They charge you for any and everything. The dryer doesn't properly dry your clothes, costing me to have put more quarters in it to try to get some sort of decent results. Lastly, and repeatedly the staff and administration here have terrible attitudes. I would never ever stay here again, even if they paid me!

Sheridan Hostel is great. Rooms are nice. Management is nice.
