I have been a patient here for over 15 years. Everyone at the practice — the reception team, hygienists, dentists, and all those working behind the scenes — have shown care, professionalism, and kindness to me over the years. From appointments being handled so efficiently at reception to the consistently high standard of clinical care, my experience with the practice has always been reassuring and positive. It has made a real difference to know that I was in such capable hands. I am only moving on due to relocating country, and I will genuinely miss having such a reliable and friendly dental team. Please accept my thanks and best wishes, both individually and collectively, for the excellent work you continue to do.

I am a very nervous patient of Shakespeare Drive Dental Centre, and normally see Laura who is an amazing Dentist. On Friday 31 January during the evening I started to get terrible pain under a crowned tooth. This pain carried on throughout the night through to the Saturday morning. I had no choice but to call the emergency number of Luke Savva who answered straight away. Luke asked me a few questions with regard to the tooth, and then told me he would need to see me as an emergency. He said he needed to arrange a nurse. He called me back within minutes to say he had organised a nurse and I was to meet them at the Dentist Surgery. I have never met Luke or had any treatment from him so being a nervous patient I was very apprehensive about seeing a different dentist. I need not have worried Luke and his nurse was fantastic - Luke has a kind caring, calming and compassionate nature about him and he put me totally at ease. They got straight to work and after various tests and xrays discovered the tooth was infected, and I would need root canal treatment, and was prescribed antibiotics to clear up the infection. He did as much as he could with regard to the root canal, and explained everything he was doing in full as he went along, and I am back on Friday to make sure I am infection free and to have the rest of the treatment completed. It was a relief to be pain free within half an hour of meeting them!! Luke and his nurse went above and beyond that day and I cannot praise or thank them enough. They were both incredible. I highly recommend anybody who is looking for a dentist to go and visit Luke and his Team - they will not be disappointed!!!

I recently had Dr. George Savva undertake a tooth implant treatment as a result of a cracked tooth that I had to have removed. After an initial consultation, Dr. Savva created a treatment plan and explained the different steps and procedures that had to take place. The plan was very thorough with lots of information on what was going to happen and what to expect etc. The pricing was also included, which was broken down to show the cost of each step. All the individual procedures went according to the plan and as expected. The service I received from Dr. Savva and his team was excellent. They are very organised and communication at each stage was excellent. Things went smoothly throughout the 6 visits I had with the Dr. The technology they utilised in many of the procedures is clearly cutting edge and up to date which gave a high degree of confidence that I was receiving the best possible treatment. Overall, I am very pleased with my new implant and how the treatment plan was carried out. They also kindly gave me a fitted gum shield at no cost. Much appreciated! I would recommend Shakespeare Drive Dental Clinic to anyone who needs dental care.

Amazing We couldn’t be more grateful for the care and kindness Luke has shown our daughter. From the very first visit, he made her feel safe, seen, and completely at ease — which is no small feat when it comes to dental appointments! Luke’s gentle approach, warm personality, and genuine passion about his patience shine through in every interaction. My children are registered at Robin Hood Dental Practice, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best clinics we’ve ever used. The team always treats my kids with genuine care and patience, making every visit a positive experience. The dentists explain everything clearly, help the children feel at ease, and consistently provide excellent treatment. I truly appreciate their professionalism and the warm, welcoming atmosphere they create for families. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Luke and the team at Shakespeare Dental enough. As someone who used to dread a trip to the dentist, I now feel calm, confident and relaxed each visit. Luke always speaks in plain English and keeps you informed during each check-up, taking the time to ensure you are fully comfortable before taking any action. I have already recommended three people to Luke and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.

An excellent experience with Luke who was doing a root filling on a molar. All was patiently explained to me and as there was a 60% pass rate on it being successful Luke advised me to pay after the second and final treatment which was much appreciated! It was the end of a busy a Friday but Luke still had the time to make me feel comfortable and ensure I knew what was happening at each stage.Jane Ellis

I really can’t say enough good things about Luke, all the team and my experiences at Shakespeare Drive. I’ve been going to an NHS dentist for all of my life, and I was left feeling let down and anxious after they recommended a tooth be extracted when I thought it could be saved. I decided to get a second opinion from Shakespeare Drive and I’m so grateful I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in safe hands. Luke not only saved my tooth with a root canal and crown, he actually listened to me. He has been phenomenal. He took the time to do proper xrays and found other work that my NHS dentist overlooked for years and would have cause me significant problems if unresolved. When I spoke to my NHS dentist about the additional work, they simply said they’d “monitor it”, which I was disappointed and frustrated by. Needless to say, I will not be going back to them. Because of the trust that I gained in Luke and the team, I’m now having my other work done at Shakespeare Drive rather than through my NHS dentist. Given my experiences during my root canal and crown, I really trust that work is being done properly, thoroughly and to a high quality. What really blew me away was how caring everyone has been. I’d lost a lot of faith in dentists after past experiences, but Luke, Jas, the Dental Nurses, Receptionists have all made me feel like I mattered and have been so kind - not only with me, but with each other. They’ve checked in on me, explained everything clearly, and went above and beyond with aftercare. It’s rare to find a place where everyone genuinely seems to love what they do and it really does show. If you’re nervous about the dentist or if you’ve had bad experiences in the past, give them a try. They don’t just fix problems, they really care about oral health and hygiene and they can restore your trust in dentistry. You won’t feel rushed, just a number, or sat waiting around because they have overbooked to see a ridiculous amount of people in a short timeframe. Also the practice is so clean and modern which is always a bonus, and if you go there at Christmas time they have an amazing tree in reception with very unique decorations. Luke has been taking care of my teeth for just over five years. During this time I have had to undergo a fair bit of dental work! I'm not the bravest of patients but can truthfully say I have received the care and expertise of a great dentist. The whole practice, hygienist, dental nurses and the friendly welcome by reception puts one at ease as soon as they walk through the door. Can highly recommend.

Luke and the team offer a welcoming, friendly and professional experience. The surgery is clean and equipped with state of the art equipment. Luke is patient, attentive and spends plenty of time to explain treatment options clearly in simple terms that are easy to understand. I feel confident each time I visit that they have your dental health as their number one priority.
