Best shop to have a lamp replaced or repaired. I have had a few lamps repaired over 15+ years and I’ve always been happy with the results. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Fortunately I do not need repairs that often but when needed, that’s the shop to go to!! Also they have the best assortment of lamp shades around and are so helpful in assisting with choosing a new one. I highly recommend this business!!

Outstanding selection of lamps and shades to choose from. The owner knows the history of vintage lamps (the time period, etc.). I have had several lamps repaired or cords changed there as well. Great customer service. A real gem to have in Fletcher.

I would highly recommend this store for its variety of lamps and shades, as well as repair work. We had two older lamps that needed repair, plus my husband wanted a better reading lamp. All of these needs, plus a new lampshade, were handled by the owner of this store quickly, expertly, and at a reasonable cost.

2024/02/02 This Retail Outlet offers multiple choices in Shades, Lamps and Repair Needs. The owners are fully dedicated & trained. They listened to me, assessed my needs and solved my problem. I feel better. If you live in WNC you have found the Place to Be. Look at it. Touch it. Try it on. Return it if you need to.

I have visited this store several times for shades for different lamps. I have never been disappointed. Keith knows his stuff! I have gone in with my lamps with a particular shape and style in mind and we try it but then he offers different options to try to see how it totally changes the look of the lamp! Who knew?!?! Great place with great people! Highly recommend! Also recommend bringing your lamps in so you can see exactly what your lamp will look like with a new shade!

I brought in my Fenton lamp and found this adorable lampshade at “shades and lamps of Fletcher”. They were so helpful in assisting me to choose the right shade. I also got this adorable little finial from them.

This was the easiest shopping experience I’ve had in decades! My wife & I walked in with our 2 lamps, and the gentleman (sorry didn’t catch his name) immediately helped us find the perfect shades within minutes! He knows his inventory and has as eye for what looks good. I would recommend anyone looking for lamps or shades to go here. We drove from Weaverville on recommendation from a friend and so glad we did. Great experience!
