Shades and Lamps of Fletcher

This place is incredible!! Stumbled on it after eating nearby at Blue Sky Cafe. We recently moved into a new house and have been striking out buying stuff online or in big box stores that ends up being super low quality or not at all like the pictures. We found an incredible unique ceiling light for the dining room and will definitely be back for more floor and table lamps once we figure the space out better. They have a lot of vintage lighting that has been rewired so you can trust it will work well. A true local gem that I'm so glad we found!

This place really is the best. I found them several months ago and they have done numerous repairs on my lamps and a chandelier. They are friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. And they have a lot of very nice lamps and a fantastic selection of shades.

This store has a huge selection of fine lampshades that are reasonably priced and good quality. The salesperson/owner is so knowledgeable and gives good advice without being pushy whatsoever. We drove from Gaffney to Fletcher and are quite pleased with our purchase. They also have a good selection of lamps with a lot of variety, old, new contemporary and traditional.

The light in my lamp was flickering so I brought it in. Keith knew right away that it was probably the on/off cord gizmo needing replaced. Fixed fast, done right and at an super fair price -- hooray!!! Even better, I was just really impressed with the customer service interactions I had with Keith. Even though my job was only a small one, the honesty, integrity, and genuine attention to customer care I received was stellar. This place is "the real deal" as far as old-time values go of doing business in a quality way. (There is good reason for the many excellent reviews for this place on here!)

Met the gentleman here who runs the store. I brought in my lamps as others suggested and this Man brought out the perfect lamp shades both times for what i needed. Very kind and knowledgeable. This place is absolutely top-notch. They have every size and type of shade, as well as many sizes of harps (even in half inch sizes). This is a family business that has been passed down to the son and his wife, Peyton and Worth. Unmatched customer service. They even changed the color of two electrical cords on the new lamps I purchased. So glad my hour and a half trip to their store was as productive as it was. Lisa

I'm very thankful for the professional and courteous service from the good folks of this family run business. My piano lamp had abruptly quit working. I like this lamp very much and wasn't really wanting to start over with a different one. They were able in just a few days' time to diagnose and fix it at a very reasonable price! I hope their business will be around for many years to come. I will definitely use their services again in the future. Very nice showroom as well!!

They expertly repaired a beautiful antique glass table lamp of mine quickly and for a reasonable price. They also have a tasteful and unusual selection of lamps and chandeliers. And how nice it is to support a multigenerational family business! I will definitely return for any future lighting needs.

This is hands-down the best lamp repair place in WNC! Keith was incredibly helpful and had my 90-year-old lamp fixed in under five minutes. The store has a fantastic selection of antique and vintage lamps, all beautifully restored to modern standards, and it’s truly a one-stop shop for all things lamp shades. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else for your lamp needs!

If you need a lamp, lamp shade, lamp parts, or education on lamps -this IS the PLACE! I have never had a better experience shopping for a lamp shade in my life. They helped me find the perfect shade for my new lamp and were so friendly and willing to share knowledge. Seriously. Visit these folks. They're experts!
