My name is Marcella I have been with the Sewa agency for almost a year . I am beyond grateful and appreciative for the excellent care I have received from the caregivers the come to my home . Mala the owner is very attentive at listening to what my needs are and desires are for a care giver and I need them 7 days a week she listens with kindness and compassion and respects my boundaries and works very hard to find the best match for myself and the care giver . And to relieve anxiety if I needed. She has done a 3way zoom or a 3 way phone call prior to them coming to my home so everyone would feel comfortable. As well as trying to find the best match for fill in staff when regular caregivers are not available. And if you are not happy or don't connect with your caregiver you let her know and she will work dill gently to find a more suitable match so everyone is happy . There is so much kindness and compassion at this agency. You don't find this every where . I feel grateful. And am very content with the care I receive here

I have dealt with a number of different home care agencies seeking people to help care for my wife, who is suffering from post-stroke partial paralysis and, more recently, dementia. Sewa has been able to come up with candidates far superior to those from other agencies. Mala Lama provides intelligent, hands on, experienced supervision, coming by weekly to see how things are going. I highly recommend her and her firm.

When I realized that my mother required the help of a caregiver, I didn't know where to start the process of looking for assistance. I felt lost and overwhelmed. I came across the SEWA Home Care website and reached out to the owner of the company, Mala Lama, over the phone to learn about the process of providing care within the home. Although my mother was not officially a client of SEWA Home Care, Mala spent over an hour on the phone with me talking me through the caregiving process. After that phone call, I no longer felt lost and knew in my heart that Mala and her team would provide exceptional care for my mother. Over time, my initial thoughts were reinforced on a daily basis as I watched how Mala and her team treated my mother with compassion and dignity. I can honestly say that it is because of Mala and her team that my family and I were able to keep my mother in her home as she transitioned from palliative to hospice care. While her caregivers worked with my mother, it also became apparent to me that my father would also benefit from the support of Mala's team. Accordingly, Mala and I worked collaboratively to develop a care plan that would effectively meet the needs of both of my parents within their home. After my mother passed away, we decided to continue to provide support to my father as he benefited tremendously from the support of the caregivers working with him through SEWA Home Care. Mala's caregivers provided compassionate and effective care for my mother as well as my father on an ongoing basis. Moreover, the caregivers were reliable, competent and communicative at all times. Mala genuinely cares about the well-being of her clients, their families and her caregivers. She cares deeply about selecting caregivers that reflect her strong commitment toward providing clients with high quality care while honoring their dignity. I highly recommend SEWA Home Care without reservation.

Sewa home care provided great service to my ailing wife in the past 2 years. The owner Mala is compassionate, knowledgeable and very efficient from planning the daily care to placing the care aides. Sewa home care provided great service to my mother. We started with an in-depth visit and interview with Ms. Lama, who was thorough, kind, and patient. The caregiver who was assigned to help my mother was very sweet. Always on time, worked well with my mother, and did everything from showering and bathing, to light house work to help out. They also got along great and she provided good companionship on the days she was working. I would highly recommend Sewa if you're looking for home care for a loved one.

I had to find home care for my brother with very little notice and no idea how to go about it. Mala listened patiently on the phone, helped me figure out what we needed, then visited my brother at his apartment - all before we signed up. She had 24 hour care set up in little more than a day! Her caregivers were friendly and professional, very sensitive to my brother’s feelings and changing needs as he went through a long recovery. They communicated well with us as needed. I can’t say enough about how important Mala was to us. She always knew what was going on with my brother, was calm and encouraging during difficult times, just a lovely person. She responded quickly whenever we called, and answered our questions or fixed a problem - often that was after hours. She also thought about my brother’s future, and made good suggestions. We had a great experience with Sewa Home care. The owner- Mala Lama is very personable, very responsive and extremely efficient in everything she does from contacting the caregiver if she’s running late ( during snow days) and getting back to the clients promptly, very willing to listen to clients needs and work accordingly. If the caregiver is unavailable she will come herself to fill in but she makes sure there’s always a caregiver. The two caregivers I had experienced with Sajini and Martine were very good to my mom. Overall I highly recommend them and their services. You will be happy
