Most people want their flooring to look good for a long time.
Tile floors are durable and can withstand heavy traffic, but they need regular cleaning to maintain that pristine appearance. The grout lines in tile floors often become discolored because they're absorbent. When you mop your floor, not all of the dirty water gets rinsed out with your mop. Some will get pushed into the grout lines where it will dry and become permanently absorbed into the grout. There are ways around this though!
Peroxide and baking soda are one option for removing stubborn stains from your tile floor's grout line .
1) Peroxide and baking soda can be mixed together to create a whitening agent.
2) Mix these ingredients with water in a bucket until it creates an even, wet consistency.
3) Apply the mixture onto your tile floor's grout line using either a sponge or rag mop (for larger areas).
